“It’s worth your salt to try Identity Brewing. Your first impulse may be to say “What’s up with the biscuit sandwiches?” Biscuits is a clever choice. They taste good. And they maintain their structural integrity when stacked with cuban, club, veggie, and chicken fixins’. That’s as opposed to, say, the buns used by Traverse City hot dog joints, which fall apart before they’re half eaten. Try the Chicken Cordon Bleu biscuit sandwich. Pair it with a pint of Strait Up if you like an IPA, or Amanda’s Folly if you prefer a soft blonde ale. And if you visit Identity between the rushes, chat with the staff. They’re good eggs. The guy we talked with has some of the best body art I’ve seen since the Navy. The gal will tell you she’s got a tat, too. Fair warning: she doesn’t. She gets tickled when she tells men she has a tattoo, then sees their eyes roam across her neck, hands, and ankles looking for it.“

“We visited on 7/8 for a lunch. Food was delicious as always. My nephew accidentally dropped his very FULL shake and it hit the wall and spilled on the floor. The staff was incredibly kind and gracious, replacing his drink very quickly and cleaned up the mess in no time. He was VERY sad and embarrassed but Eden was so sweet and showed him such grace. Thank you for helping him feel ok with having an accident and not making him feel worse! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Had a wonderful experience i had for my birthday, the service was extremely patient and kind in various multiple ways, such as the time it took for my entire party to arrive, to the lack of absolute hesitation and willingness to switch a meal out my 75yr old mother ordered thinking it was an entirely different meal. Sage was incredibly naturally kind and understanding as a server in this capacity for excellent customer service one does not come across often. Thank you for a great simple birthday family dinner but also for warm kind understanding serving my mother with compassion for her misunderstanding and the warm willingness to correct it for her. “It has been about 10-15 ish years since I have had hungry Howies the last time I had it was with my dad when I was a little girl I was so excited to hear about it being open. Did not disappoint. All the memories of my dad and I eating pizza and watching movies came flooding back“

“Would I recommend? Hmm. Our server was great ( I wish I got her name) but she was overwhelmed and they were under staffed. The food? Not great. Everything was overdone. The cornbread was dry. I ordered the seared tune salad and the tuna was more medium well. The music could have been a little more upbeat for a weekend. While we all ( a party of 6) ate our food, it wasn’t the greatest. It may have just been an off night, every restaurant has some. I felt bad for our server. She was such a sweetheart. She can’t control the cooking staff or management. Management needs to learn that they need to take better care of their staff to make sure that patrons experience is above satisfied. Will I come back? Maybe. But it might be a long while? Will I recommend? If someone asks me about I will be honest. Will I come out and say you have to go there? No. But I won’t discourage anyone from trying it.“
