“OMG… SOOOOO GOOD! We called ahead to see how busy it was and Stephanie was delightful on the phone. When we came in Stephanie’s warmth, charm and friendliness met us at the door! She chatted with us about the restaurant and how it’s a product of her and her husband’s love for food. Everything is sourced from specific farmers so they know where all their ingredients are coming from! 💗 Our sever Vynessa 😊 was AMAZING, took great care of us, gave recommendations, chatted with us and poured love into her service! The food…. Holy smokes, it was so effing good! We had risotto, the flavors and textures just complemented each other perfectly, the best risotto I’ve ever had. The quiche was just as good and had great ingredients of rapini, sweet potato, broccoli, carmalized onions and more! We also had roasted potatoes and bacon sausage. We grabbed a scone and cinnamon roll to go, haven’t tried them at the time of posting this review. Please go here, support small, support local and have some of the best food of your life! P.S. it was so good, we went back the next day and it was just as wonderful! 💗“

“Really loved our visit here - wines were fantastic and we especially loved Block 65 named for their football playing brother who passed away. Such a friendly place especially Ed, one of the family members. Thanks for being so warm and welcoming. We loved the oysters, poke and pizza in addition to the views and solar panels. Well worth a visit. We brought wine home and can’t wait to share it. So class to downtown TC and well worth a relaxing visit.“

“We loved taproot!! Food was amazing.! Great for gluten free and vegan. Even had a small dog menu! Our pup had a burger for dinner and our waitress was fantastic and welcoming to us and our dog! Thanks for a great experience! We will be back“

“AMAZING! Finally made it to Peninsula Cellars and it is now my favorite place, the cider and wine was so very good! The merlot slushie and in house sangria were so very delicious. Historic schoolhouse is so cute, Sarah was so very friendly and helpful. I cannot wait to go back!“

“My husband and I both enjoy Indian food. This is hands down the BEST Indian food we’ve ever had! I had Daal Tadka and my husband had Daal Madkani. We also shared garlic naan. The ambience is modern with of course an Indian vibe. The aromas walking in were very enticing yet not over powering. They have a large variety of food. Plenty of vegetarian options which I was pleased with. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was timely yet not constantly interrupting. The chef brings the food to your table which was a lovely touch. I’m addition to the food being delicious, it’s very generous portions. We both had plenty left over to take home. Highly recommend this gem when you’re in Traverse City. We will likely visit it again before we head home next week!“

“Sarah was the sommelier to walk me through the tasting menu. Fantastic suggestions starting with the “must try” Kerner and the OMG Elefcy. Fantastic to see this location in the old asylum and how they use grapes from local grape growers AND enjoy meeting with them to discuss blends and just build community. Brilliant and VERY tasty well made wines. These wines came home with me. Thank you Sarah fir your knowledge and hospitality 🍷“

“Earthen Ales is a pleasant place to enjoy a beer. I stopped by to try a flight of beers and really enjoyed their darker ales. It feels pretty casual and welcoming, and I like how it’s kind of hidden away back there. I’ll have to look out for their beers in my neck of the woods.“

“If you have a pup, this is the place to be. We took our 11-month-old puppy out for her first time. All the other dogs were very friendly and greeted her at the door. Then they went outside for a good romp in the big yard. The humans were also quite friendly and welcoming. It has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. There were a good number of beers on tap and tasty creative holiday drinks. We will definitely return.“

My daughter was struggling to decide what she wanted and the person taking our order asked her probing questions (like what's your favorite candy, lemonade flavor, lollipop flavor) to help her decide what to get! Definitely recommend!“

“I arrived with one thing in mind, something to help kidney and liver function. there was choices and they were very helpful is narrowing down to exactly what was right for me. their knowledge and customer service are something you only see with locally owned businesses and their passion for tea is phenomenal! “Had an issue with food. After calling the restaurant it was rough with the management but the owner did call, even though it was missed, made it a point to make it right and did so. That is the reason for the 5 star. Thank you for making it right“

“What a fun find! Right Brain Brewery tap room has a super cool, laid-back vibe with plenty of character.
The beers are excellent, we especially loved Free Play and Social Probation. We enjoyed a couple of pints while munching on some tasty appetizers that hit the spot.
The best part for our family? The arcade games! There are tons of them, and they kept our kids happily entertained the entire time.

I do think it is a shame that the best view (the backside) is where production is. Something for the owners to consider in the future.“

“Stopped on an overcast Wednesday afternoon in August and had a lovely time. Terrific wines (I especially loved the still Rose’ & BDX red blend). Friendly service, outstanding pretzel bites and beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the vineyards and old mission bay.“

“We visited on 7/8 for a lunch. Food was delicious as always. My nephew accidentally dropped his very FULL shake and it hit the wall and spilled on the floor. The staff was incredibly kind and gracious, replacing his drink very quickly and cleaned up the mess in no time. He was VERY sad and embarrassed but Eden was so sweet and showed him such grace. Thank you for helping him feel ok with having an accident and not making him feel worse! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Everything about my experience with them for my wedding was perfect! Booking was easy and Sharon really worked with us since we lived out of state. Being from Texas, my guests and I had very high expectations for our bbq and they absolutely delivered. I’m still hearing about how it was the best brisket they’ve ever had. And the service from Caitlyn and the others on the day of was phenomenal. I highly recommend!!!“
