Left Foot Charley Wineries • $$
806 Red Dr Ste 100, Traverse City

“My husband and I had an incredible experience at LFC. We were in town celebrating our one year anniversary and left foot Charley was our last stop! Michael was extremely attentive and shared so many great stories and tips as we navigated the menu. We ended up trying many varieties (including some we wouldn’t have normally ordered) thanks to him! He was one of the highlights of our trip - thank you so much Michael for helping us end our anniversary trip on such a high note.

Other things to note - the patio is incredible and has ample seating. We loved the vibes inside and the prices are reasonable. We brought our two dogs and they were loved on and welcomed which we appreciated as well. We look forward to coming back!“

Chateau Grand Traverse Wineries • $$
12239 Center Rd, Traverse City

“Nice. Clean. Friendly. Ordered 2 glasses of late harvest $8 each $16 for two. Ordered a bottle of late harvest $16 each. Get the bottle.
Their Bavarian pretzel is large ($10.00). Did not try it. However, while I was in Germany I could buy authentic Bavarian pretzels that are half the size and 1/10 the cost of a winery pretzel. JS“

The whole place has an easy, laid-back vibe - not fancy or pretentious; just a spot where you can relax and enjoy yourself. They have several different outdoor spaces. We were lucky to snag a couple Adirondack chairs under shade trees overlooking the fields. The servers were very nice and helpful. The wine and snacks were great.
