“Lamical review We first came here 20 years ago and we’re charmed by the ambiance, the fireplace and the delicious food. Our most recent visit in February 2022, after several years absence, was a sad disappointment. 1. We had to ask the waitress if the cheap hunk of dry buttered bread with a soft crust represented the baguette. Unfortunately it did. It was not sourdough as advertised. The waitress said it was a “wheat sourdough”? Ok, sure. 2. The French Onion soup was saltier than the Atlantic Ocean, was mostly bread filled with few onions, and was topped with mozzarella not gruyere. 3. The entrees were mediocre at beat. I’ve never ordered anything other than the roast chicken and was looking forward to it. The chicken was piled on top of the potatoes and broccoli in nouveau cuisine fashion and was drenched in a weird creamy sauce. The beef bourguignon was served with strange gigantic noodles. Not good. The price fixe items were mediocre. 4. Service was decent. The bus boys did a great job of filling our water glasses, which was appreciated given the salt level. We sadly and regretfully won’t be coming back.“

“Excelent asian restaurant. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed our time there. Place is very busy so you need a reservation and it's also prey loud, but we got lucky and got a table on the balcony at the end of the restaurant. It was quite and romantic“

“We were in town for my daughter's bachlorette party and decided on Sorellina for dinner after reading the reviews. We were not disappointed at all. Carter took excellent care of us. He made wonderful recommendations and was joking with us all night. It was a busy night but Carter was still very attentive and made sure our dinner was special.I would highly recommend Sorellina and Carter for a wonderful dining experience!“

“Really excellent. All of the food was very very good and some of it was unworldly. Notable in this category was the tempura asparagus. The local wines are really good - at least the whites that we tasted were. We didn't sample any reds, but the Old Mission Peninsula shows great promise as a wine region. Service was excellent. Prices vary from a bit over the top for some of the meats to really reasonable for starters, side dishes and fish, and the view from the dining room is the icing on the cake.“

“Best Mac and cheese I've had in my entire life. The staff is good and it takes a minute to get the food but it's also worth it. Absolutely delicious and the cider flights are a great way to pick and choose to find something you love.“

“I’m not saying an infant can claim the best taste buds—but between the atmosphere, the delish dishes, and the staff—we make the trip to S2S every time we’re in town.We managed to snap a photo of the towering pancakes w/ thyme syrup before we devoured them; but just barely so. We also landed the quiche, the savory waffle w/ beef, and the divine baked goods. Literally, everything was delectable. The staff are kind and patient, even with our infant’s mess. Don’t take our word for it, RUN THERE!“
“Beautiful winery, amazing service, and a beautiful view!“

“We LOVE Millie and Pepper. It’s so cute and cozy and the crepes are mouthwatering. They have a great mix of both sweet and savory crepes available so there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend the ham and cheese with a fried egg? If it’s too busy to sit inside the crepes come in a perfect to go container to eat and walk around downtown. If it’s busy you will have to wait a bit for your crepe, it’s a small place and they can only make so many at a time but they are consistently delicious and worth the wait!“

“I was a little apprehensive that a food truck at a campground would be good. it was amazing! so glad I had it my last night or I would be eating here every night! note: I had the great northern burger.“
“A bit pricey but what a fantastic atmosphere! I would definitely recommend to visit after dinner for cocktails and sit at the patio near the fire pit. The cocktails were delicious. Service is fast paced, professional but a bit impersonal. But hey, good booze, sweet atmosphere, who really cares about the rest.“

“We ate at The Towne Plaza for the first time today. The ambiance has a cool, chill vibe. Definitely a place to go in the "off season." I imagine they are quite slammed during season. We had cocktails that were all on point. The bloody Maria's had wonderful garnishes. We had a lovely server who accommodated all of our wants and needs. If you have any food allergies they are very accommodating. Everything we ordered was extremely delicious. We had several Benedict's, pork belly, the omelette, smoked bacon and extraordinary scrambled eggs. All were on point. The service was fast and efficient. Can't wait to return!“

“Excellent service. Burgers are very good. Burger patties are super thick. I had the blu cheese burger and the only complaint I have is the plate seemed crowded and the sweet potato tots were burnt. Not something I would tank a review for just tossing it out there. Also, i still ate everything lol. It was good. Nice lite atmosphere, typical trendy bar scene. Great food, party of three with drinks, 86 bucks. Not too bad. I'd come back“

“Our experience with Archie's was top notch! Immediately greeted by the owner, Jon who quickly seated us. He made us aware that a new waitress would be helping us and he would be listening in. No problem to us. Heather was great. Very attentive , checked on us often. Food was great! The curry cauliflower app was so amazing! Must try! Everyone had different dishes and all were pleased. Well done! We will be back!“
“If you visit Silver Spruce Brewing Company when the food truck is open, you can enjoy some tasty treats with your beverages! Having sampled a couple different brews that were interesting and refreshing, I settled on my favorite... the Imperial Stout! Then for my lunch, I chose the chicken strip basket, and also sampled a chicken Taco, which I loved! (Next time, I'm getting the pork carnita tacos! Or maybe one of their other options, like French fries covered with a variety of toppings, or a quesadilla, or... ?) Since it was a gloriously sunny day, I enjoyed my meal at one of their outdoor picnic tables. Perfect.“

“This is a small place a lot of locals go to. It has a great retro diner vibe & the food is pretty good. I loved my breakfast when I came the first time a year ago. This 2nd visit, the food was good, but less impressive. I will have to give it another try next time I'm in town.“

“Really good food. Good service. A long time Traverse City establishment. It's gotten a little expensive lately but they are doing good work for the community giving free food to those in need so I'm happy to pay a little more than it seems a diner meal should cost.“

“The Asian Wrap is my favorite product of theirs. Fantastic spinach tortilla and great balance of flavors. Ask them for the soy glaze when ordering! Everything is so fresh and they don't cut corners like other places downtown. Keep up the good work!“

“A great place with cozy seating! Many circle booths, a few tables and a long bar! Super busy but great service in this northern Michigan bar! They have many tapped beer along with full bar beverages. We have enjoyed many meals here and plan to visit each time we are in town. Staff and servers are friendly, we love the venue and the prices are reasonable!“
“We have come to this area and visited many of the region's wineries several times. Chateau Grand Traverse stands out above them all. Do yourself a favor and come outside of the busy time of year (summer and fall) so you can have more time for a tasting without the crowds. Jacob was especially knowledgeable of the history of the vineyard the wines they serve, he helped us find all of our favorite wines on the menu. Highly recommend this as a stop on your wine tour.“

“We arrived in Traverse City close to our children's bedtime so we decided to pick up food to go from Firefly. Oh my goodness every single item we ordered was amazing. We don't consumer alcohol so getting fish n chips that were not beer battered was such a treat! Fish tacos are a must try! Fries and buttered noodles for the kids were standard. Shrimp fried rice was exceptional!“
“I haven't been to every brewery in traverse city, so this statement may be inaccurate, but I'm pretty sure this is the best brewery in traverse city. They have very creative beers, verging on outright odd, which is super fun, great atmosphere, always love stopping in when I'm up this way (coming from SE Michigan).“

“My family and I stopped mainly for the beignets, but also for a brunch. It was a wonderful experience, they were very accommodating for our large family and were very kind. The food (and beignets) were great and reasonably priced. We will absolutely return.“
“Great place to hang out and get a beer. The two different beers that we tried were great ands the atmosphere was very comfortable. The only downside is that they don’t offer food. I did see that people were bringing food from other restaurants but it would be nice if they had some small appetizers or something. The beer was good enough to have us overlook the lack of food.“
“Brandon was phenomenal. It unexpectedly started raining while we were sitting on the patio. He gathered up every umbrella that had been left behind & brought them out to us. He even came out & asked if we wanted a group photo at one point. The cherry soda was delicious.“

“The staff is friendly and inviting the minute you walk in. The brewpub is decorated nicely with low lighting with lot to look at.We sat at the bar and received service immediately. I ordered the banh mi chicken sandwich with fries ($15) with a side of ranch ($1.50) and my husband ordered the blackened mahi tacos that came with chips and salsa ($14).Both items were SO GOOD! The chicken sandwich comes on a ciabatta roll that was soft and warm. The cabbage, radishes and cilantro on it were all fresh and crispy. The tacos came with two tacos and did only have one piece or fish on each taco but the taste was on point. Even the chips and salsa were tasty. I sometimes find chips and salsa at a restaurant can feel like an afterthought and these did not!We also each ordered a beer and they were both amazing! Our bill total with two meals and a beer each was $45.Expect to pay for parking while eating here. We only had to pay a dollar at a parking meter for an hour.“

“First time at Don's. It definitely won't be the last. I had the Perch Hoagie & oh my gosh, it was great! Husband had burger & fries. Not bad but waitress charged him for 1/2 lb when he ordered quarter pounder. We said nothing because place was extremely busy for 2:30p. He also liked my hoagie better. Chocolate milkshake was very good too. Service was fast & waitress attentive.“

“We love 7Monks and as “locals” we are regulars, visiting almost weekly year round and bringing a group of friends with us for drinks and food after music rehearsals. Love the broad beverage selection and elevated food options. Terrific staff. Keep up the good work!! (One request - please consider switching from the very strong/unpleasant disinfectant you use. Appreciate the commitment to cleanliness but it’s definitely an off-putting/strong smell and has been brought up by several people we know.) see you soon! ???“

“Have been buying Asiago Roasted Garlic bread for years. Great Bread toasted loaded with real garlic cloves. However the last loaf lacked any Garlic at all. Very disappointed is this the new norm to be expected or was this an aberration? The latter I would hope otherwise we will be opting for a new bakery. Have a nice day ?☀️“
“This place is awesome. My daughter is celiac and the staff here is very knowledgeable about celiac. Our waiter stated that the head chef is also celiac. We had the cheese bread, fried pickles, zooted fries and the chicken tenders. All amazing and gluten free! All of the non gluten free was also delicious (Burger, salad and pita wrap). It is very seldom that we find this level of service at any restaurants we visit! Thanks so much!“

“T.C. Latino is the light of my life. The food is so reasonably priced, and always delicious. It's both the best and the only authentic Mexican food in this town. Edward has a smile that shines like the Sun, and he always makes me feel welcome while I stand awkwardly in the corner waiting for my meal that doesn't break $10. When offering salsa, you're given two options. But there's a secret third option. Once you know about it, you're welcomed into an elite club where they already know which salsa you want. It's almost as good as having friends. I would do anything for them. Also they have flan!“
“I loveeee the sandwiches here, my family makes it a point of coming every year we're on the peninsula. U customize which is very fun, and the bread and spreads are great. I do wish they had a vegetarian protein option, but otherwise it is perfect“

“Nice parking area, nice ambiance, great pizza! Several specialty type pizzas or you could build your own. The thin crust was thicker than we normally order. But great flavor. Owner stopped by our table a couple of times, just to see how we were doing. We'd go there again“
“I just moved to Traverse City, and I ADORE this brewery! The cidar beer I had was amazing! The waitress, Kendra, was so friendly. They treated me like I was born and raised here and I felt like I'm home! My dog's were welcome and we sat around the fire pit. This really is one of my favorite hang outs!“
“Our office ordered take out lunch from The Kitchen today. First of all, everybody at the office thought the food was delicious. Obviously freshly prepared and very fair proportions. There was one small hiccup in our order. Ashley went out of her way, above and beyond, to fix the issue and take care of us!! I am absolutely sure we will order from there again. The staff was bright and friendly. In an era where good old fashioned customer service has gone to the wayside, The Kitchen and Ashley showed me that it still exists!! Thanks again for a great lunch and a great experience!!“

“Doesn't matter what you order, its all quality delicious. Excellent food. Large portions. Nice plating & garnish. Well priced. Waitress staff are super courteous, patient, and kind. I was hoping in their southwest burrito, that the inner contents were more course, instead of almost like a baby food paste. But tasty nonetheless! And warning their regular coffee is literally the strength of a French press. Yeesh! My body is sensitive to caffeine.“

Good drinks too- didn't eat food but it smelled and looked amazing and this place had stuff to do, little arcade, board and card games... “Three people working that we seen after we seated ourselves. We did bot see any of them for a few minutes after we walked in. It is why we seated ourselves. The inside of the place was cool. Beer, wine, and mixed drink menu was amazing. Very large selection of all of them. The food had a mild smoke taste. The waffle fries were lukewarm at best and not crisp. 4 stars is a push for me, but the beer did taste dang good. We did find a dirty napkin in our booth. Think it just got overlooked since the booth is black and so are the napkins.“

“These 2 were what I ordered. A carbonara and a bolognese. Carbonara was okay and I loved the texture of the pasta, if anyone could tell me what the name of the pasta is that’ll be great. However the bacon crumbs were very salty. I thought the bolognese was very child friendly and nice. Blueberry tiramisu was not worth it, it’s like school dining hall dessert, very pricey. Overall, a pricey place but understandable given the location.“
