“Fun little distillery a little bit outside of town. Nice vibe with indoor and lots of outdoor seating. We’re not too into whiskey but the cherry sour was delicious, as well as the cocktail cherries. They had pretzels for food but not much else. Would definitely go again for a drink in the summer“
“Some friends and I brought my husband here for some whiskey tasting for his birthday. A friendly young man shared his expertise on the spirits that we had chosen. I asked him his name as I was truly hoping it would be Harrison because I had read so many reviews with many people pointing out how great he was. I was so excited when he said, that was his name, and I told him that his reputation proceeded him! He was truly humbled and said that made his day. But he definitely made ours. Harrison was friendly and knowledgeable, and his suggestions were spot on. We will definitely be back to see him to try & buy some more The next time we were in town!“
“Can be difficult to get a table (especially during the weekend) as a walk up but they do have reservations on line! Food is good, service can be slow if it’s busy but that can be expected. Interesting experience eating inside but in the hallway roped off from walking path. Makes for fun people watching!Parking can be pretty difficult on the weekend so make sure to leave plenty of time for that!“
“Food- I didn't order any, so I will refrain from commenting. Beverage- I wanted Oberon, not here yet. So, Cheboygan Brewing Co's Blood Orange was great. Service- perfect. Ambiance- This place is super fancy. I had not been inside before, loved the vibe. Love me a lamp with some fringe. Beetlejuice was playing on a wall, I love Beetlejuice!“
“2 pm on a Monday. I got the Philly roll, sub shrimp for crab. The shrimp was fried. Honestly such a solid substitute (thanks Maria). The roll was an 8.5/10. It hit the spot.Maria was my server. She was super nice, and ONNN IT. I was slamming waters and she had them refilled before I could even get to the bottom (seems like a small thing, but anticipating needs is what makes a great experience from a great server - most places take forever to refill waters).I was kind of in a rush, never said I was or thought I made it apparent, but she acutely picked up on the vibe and got my food so fast, and brought the check in perfect timing. The place had a really cool vibe and a lot of natural light. Solid choice!“
“The service is great The ambiance dark and (if a bit noisy at times). It has the feel of a London Gentleman's Club. The cocktails are crafted little bits of heaven in a glass ... mixed with a bit of mischief and a gentle kick from grandads mule.“
“Awesome Vietnamese place to stop in a nice part of Traverse City. Very clean, nice place with an easy menu and a lot of apparel and corky things to look at. Their Bahn Mi was awesome. Will defiantly be back next time I'm in the mood for Vietnamese.“
“Had a great experience here last night. Food was good, view is great, and Dennis and the 2 ladies helping him behind the bar were super friendly and helpful. I had a gift certificate that I didn't know how to apply as payment when ordering from my phone, and Dennis had never seen that type of gift certificate either, but he didn't skip a beat. He smiled, wrote down the order for me and my wife, gave it to the cooks, then went behind the scenes to get the payment handled while my wife and I enjoyed our drinks and waited for our food. Typically you'd get the "let me ask my manager" response and then sit and wait, but Dennis handled it and was awesome. Many thanks!“
“We were a party of five. Our food came out promptly and hot. The Tavern Burger and fries were amazing. The seafood chowder was even better! The side salad was way above average with spring greens and multiclor tomtoes. The wood fire pizza is legit. And when one of us ordered carrot cake for dinner, the server didn't blink an eye!“
“This place is compact and fancy. We did make a reservation earlier in the day for dinner, just in case. The waitress was great. Food was elegant with perfect portions. I got the mushroom gnocchi and other dish was chicken& mushroom picatta. We got the fried calamari, which was good.... but instead of the typical circles/ rings that are offered, we got some rings and some legs. Like... literally octopus legs. It's hard to eat squiggly legs when they're presented. Maybe that's just our preference, but we couldn't eat half of the appetizer because of that. That was the only negative of the experience. I don't recommend to get the fried calamari. But def recommend the other foods!!!Vegetarian options: Mushroom gnocchi, alfredo“
