Best view in Traverse City (afaik), but that is where it ends. First round had the TC Manhattan and two Cuddles on the Beach. Manhattan was basic with cherry flavored bourbon. Cuddles on the Beach were good but served in obviously dirty glasses. 2nd round was Blackberry Mojito and Virgin Mule. Didn't muddle the mint in the mojito (as far as I could tell) so it was just blackberry syrup and rum. Virgin Mule was good.

Excellent view. Super relaxing. Drinks are $20 ea. & we didn't feel they had much alcohol & tasted like mixes rather than crafted. So we spent $100 for the view. It was worth every cent.
Great local spot. Amazing views. Great place to view the sunset.

Based on the reviews, H&L Social Rooftop Bar and Eatery offers amazing atmosphere with beautiful views of the bay and spectacular rooftop sunset views. The food and views were great; the fries were done in duck fat which lended a splendid flavor, and the fish and chips tasted great. However, service is basically self-service. Guests must walk up and order food and drinks at a window or kiosk, then sit down. This is slightly cumbersome, especially when there is only one person taking orders and making drinks. The drinks and food were pricey, but expected due to this being a rooftop bar. The views were wonderful, but the service dropped the ball for some.
