About amical

Amical is a charming restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, featuring checkered tablecloths and a welcoming staff. The menu offers delectable options, including a generous chicken pot pie, a popular steak dish, and phenomenal French onion soup. Customers praise the food quality and portion sizes, with the Penne Rustica being a missed favorite. The gnocchi with peas, fennel, and chicken sausage is delicious, while the duck confit with lentils is savory and rich. The bolognese on polenta is a fun twist on a traditional dish, and the crab cakes and hazelnut-brown butter tart are also highlights. The heated patio is pleasant, and the staff is friendly and professional. Despite occasional service challenges, Amical provides a consistently enjoyable dining experience with excellent wine and cocktail selections.

From the gracious owner, to the exceptional servers and the amazing bartender (she really is the best) they always make you feel like family. If you haven’t been there you are missing...read full review

The waitress said it was a “wheat sourdough”? Ok, sure. 2. The French Onion soup was saltier...read full review
Always great! I’ve loved this restaurant for decades and visit often when I’m in Michigan.
