We came to Amical with no reservation, and the hostess said she could seat us in 5 minutes if some of the reservations didn’t show up. Luckily, they didn’t, and we were seated... on the patio! Since we’re not from the area, we really wanted to enjoy the view of downtown Traverse City while we ate, so the patio seating was perfect.

Service was very good but food was meh, esp for the price. Trout Wellington had poor or no flavor. Green beans were bland. Mushroom side also without flavor. Kimchi tasted mostly like salt. We were actually happy to go. We ate here last year or the year before and had a fixed three course meal that was AMAZING, and friends of ours have eaten here for years. I wonder what happened?
