Hawthorne Vineyards offers a delightful wine-tasting experience with a stunning view of the area's bays, showcasing a pretty overall scenery including a winding road and the lake behind. The staff is phenomenal and friendly, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a selection of good wines, including dry whites, rosé wines, and sparkling wines at reasonable prices. The winery's charming and peaceful setting makes it an ideal spot to relax and savor the local wines, whether sitting indoors or outside in the nice outdoor space when the weather allows. The grounds are very nice, and there are good choices of wines, including the popular cherry wine and Riesling. For families, there is a popcorn flight for the kids to enjoy. The wine at Hawthorne was good, with nuanced white wines. The Pinot Grigio and Pinot Blanc were very good. The staff was great and the place itself was pretty home-like. The views from their spot on the hill were nice. Hawthorne is a hidden gem on OMP.
