Hawthorne Vineyards was the last stop late in a long day of wine tasting on the Mission Peninsula. Thank goodness we made the stop, since it turned out to be the best one by far. While a bit off the beaten path, you’ll find Hawthorne to be a charming and peaceful setting that will make you want to stay and relax for some time. This winery is an excellent place to try new wines and be in a welcoming atmosphere. The last that owns us made us feel welcome and valued. Their prices are reasonable and the view from the bar is outstanding

Went here to have a glass of wine and to enjoy the view of both bays at once. Staff is very helpful. Liked all 3 of the dry whites and the rose we tasted. Great location for the views of the area.
