This is a hidden gem on the Old Mission Peninsula! An out of the way location and some wonderful wines as well. Loved the charcuterie board and the wine flights. And the views are spectacular! Thank you Hawthorne Vineyards!!
My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Hawthorne Vineyards. Corbin took great care of us during our tasting and was friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderful to talk with.
The tasting format is a little different, with several curated flights of three wines built around particular styles. I generally prefer being able to select my own wines for a flight, but the selections were thoughtfully put together and gave us a chance to try some interesting varietals...

A MUST stop. We had an absolutely amazing time here with views of both bays! The wine was honestly some of the best wine we tasted on the Leelanau and or Old Mission Peninsula across the board from whites to red. A truly incredible experience and a must stop. Their manager Corbin was experienced, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful.
