“This place is such a hidden gem. Honestly some of the best cocktails I’ve had in Michigan and it’s tucked away in Elk Rapids! We always make a stop here when we are in Northern Michigan. Their gin is awesome and so is the Mel!“

“5 stars for the service. Mary greeted us right away, Branden was patient while I figured out what I wanted, and Marlen brought my kiddos some wax sticks to play with while my husband and I enjoyed ourselves.

I do think it is a shame that the best view (the backside) is where production is. Something for the owners to consider in the future.“

“Stopped on an overcast Wednesday afternoon in August and had a lovely time. Terrific wines (I especially loved the still Rose’ & BDX red blend). Friendly service, outstanding pretzel bites and beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the vineyards and old mission bay.“

“The main issue I have is when paying our bill. They added a service fee on top of our bill. When I asked about it the waitress said they do that because they haven't raised their menu prices. I think it is a pretty deceptive practice to have menu prices but really charge more for the meal then what te menu indicates.
I can understand raising prices but don't lie to the customer about what the true food cost is.“

“Would I recommend? Hmm. Our server was great ( I wish I got her name) but she was overwhelmed and they were under staffed. The food? Not great. Everything was overdone. The cornbread was dry. I ordered the seared tune salad and the tuna was more medium well. The music could have been a little more upbeat for a weekend. While we all ( a party of 6) ate our food, it wasn’t the greatest. It may have just been an off night, every restaurant has some. I felt bad for our server. She was such a sweetheart. She can’t control the cooking staff or management. Management needs to learn that they need to take better care of their staff to make sure that patrons experience is above satisfied. Will I come back? Maybe. But it might be a long while? Will I recommend? If someone asks me about I will be honest. Will I come out and say you have to go there? No. But I won’t discourage anyone from trying it.“

“My wife and I visited Bowers Harbor Vineyard recently and had a great time. The whole place has an easy, laid-back vibe - not fancy or pretentious; just a spot where you can relax and enjoy yourself. They have several different outdoor spaces. We were lucky to snag a couple Adirondack chairs under shade trees overlooking the fields. The servers were very nice and helpful. The wine and snacks were great. We would definitely come back again.“
