Pearle's is a must try if you are in the Elk Rapids area. Their Cajun cuisine is excellent! Be sure to try the collard greens, fried green tomatoes, and crawfish cakes for starters. The bronzed shrimp dinner is one of my favorites. The fried chicken salad rocks too.Their traditional Cajun favorites like jambalaya or ettoufe are authentic and very well done.Don't like spicy? Pearl's food, service, and atmosphere are always fantastic. My family and I have been eating there for years, and the quality is always consistent. Their bourbon selection is ridiculous, and the food is...getting hungry thinking about it. Just go if you haven't been.
