“We always have such a good time at Mo's! Highly recommend the laser tag - Espn was really kind, gave us great tips on how to do better in the arena, and he went above and beyond to make our experience the best time. And drinks are reasonably priced!”
“I eat here often. It really depends on what you get if the food is good. What I do like is they have different world foods almost every month plus your traditional comfort foods. Polish month is the best. Sorry guys, but your Greek food kinda sucks. Wish it was not so tight in there. Servers are pretty cool.”
“I must say, the server Shane was extremely helpful in giving us knowledge on the dishes and also input on historical information on this location .The dishes, oh my goodness, was taking me to Italy. The chef is doing it right. In every bite you taste layers of flavors. Definitely a must if you love great food and awesome staff.”
“A+ Dinner. We visit Traverse City a couple times a year and this was our first visit to Stella. The atmosphere is very cool in the lower level of the commons. The food was delicious, the housemade bread and burrata were simply amazing. Our server Shelby was fantastic and her recommendations were on point too! Will definitely be back on our next trip to TC!”
“Absolutely great Sechuan experience. The spicy nature of the cuisine is captured perfectly by these skilled artisans. The balance of flavors is exceptional. Don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy the Crocodile Palace.”
“Had the Olive Twists, Crab Cakes and Cheese Plate for starters. It was all amazing! I’m an olive fanatic and so the twists, having feta with them made them the best thing ever! For main course, we both had the Mushroom Stroganoff. Again, I’m also a mushroom fanatic and this was so good!Dessert was the pear cobbler and two scoops of ice cream. A very nice way to end the dinner! The staff was attentive and very informative and also didn’t really hover. My one small complaint, was we noticed a few fruit flies flying around and so that wasn’t very fun. And also the seating we had was by the doors and so during the conversation, we had a lot of door slamming.I will definitely be back cause it was all amazing.”
“Went here on a Sunday morning without a reservation. They were able to accommodate my party of 3 at the first come first serve bar seating they offer. I ordered chicken and waffles with a side of bacon. After my first bite I knew that the food was worth every penny. I will return.”
“Best place for gourmet burgers in TC and really best we've ever had - inventive Southwestern-leaning flavor profiles for freshly made, huge and tasty smashburgers and cut fries - cool and cozy mid century modern decor with a cowboy twist - friendly staff remembers regulars and speedy consistent quality and service. YUM YUM YUM!”
“This place is compact and fancy. We did make a reservation earlier in the day for dinner, just in case. The waitress was great. Food was elegant with perfect portions. I got the mushroom gnocchi and other dish was chicken& mushroom picatta. We got the fried calamari, which was good.... but instead of the typical circles/ rings that are offered, we got some rings and some legs. Like... literally octopus legs. It's hard to eat squiggly legs when they're presented. Maybe that's just our preference, but we couldn't eat half of the appetizer because of that. That was the only negative of the experience. I don't recommend to get the fried calamari. But def recommend the other foods!!!Vegetarian options: Mushroom gnocchi, alfredo”
“I get boba very very often and all of the employees are so kind and helpful. Every employee I’ve spoken too has given me great recommendations and helped me have the best experience I could have at their store. I’ve tried many different boba combinations and I have never once been disappointed. I love this shop and would recommend for everyone to give it a try!!Dietary restrictions: To my knowledge there are none, their milk and mix’s are all nut free and such.”
“Awesome spot for Laotian & Cambodian food. Owners, husband and wife, together represent both countries as first generation immigrants.Food is superb. I ordered noodles with peanut sauce, and it was splendid. My spouse ordered bamboo noodles with tofu, also profound. They don’t offer the more familiar Asian cuisine many Americans are accustomed to seeing at fusion restaurants; it’s uniquely Southeast Asian food.Looking back, I wish I had tried their Pho ?I know it would have been good.Stop by if you’re in Traverse City area! You won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Meat is optional for most menu items (probably all if you ask).Dietary restrictions: Vegan was no problem, vegetarian was even easier. Meat is add-able.Kid-friendliness: Owners also have kids. They keep toys onsite. Our kids did great ?Wheelchair accessibility: East access.”
“The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxing and chill. The owner answered all my questions about the different rolls and where the fish comes from. Will be back for sure”
“We were here in October 2023. This is a late post because my husband and I were just reminiscing about the best pizza we EVER had. This Florida couple was so impressed, we plan to come back annually. This is a bucket list item you simply must check out!!!”
“Folgarelli's has the best deli and the BEST sandwiches we've ever had! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The selection of Italian products was top notch. Our chat with one of the owners was heartwarming. Anytime we are NEAR Traverse City, we will return for one of their superb sandwiches from their deli.”
“Wonderful food and service. Lovely meal, of walleye, a mushroom pastry and smoked carrots. All were wonderful. This is the sort of place to go for the daring choice that wild option because it will be a delightful new experience.Vegetarian options: Wonderful mushroom pastry and smoked carrotsParking: Just behind on the side street.”
“Stopped in with the family and they all loved it. Son was asking to go back the next day. Unfortunately the flavor I chose (peanut butter oreo) was so bland it didn't seem to have any flavor. All in all it's a place worth stopping in.”
“I grew up in this town but left in 1985. I’ve lived in California since and have eaten at a lot of great restaurants including the Laundry, Chez Panisse, Slanted Door and Mr Chows to name a few. This without a doubt rank's right there. I honestly never thought I’d have a decent thing to eat in this town other than bar food but now I know exactly where it is. If you’re hungry for something exceptional look no further. I have never liked mushrooms, but the mushroom toast was my favorite dish. I can’t believe I’m saying it. Thank you Jen and to the staff for a great evening Looking forward to going back.”
“The burgers here were absolutely delicious! I had The slabtown Burger with Sweet potato fries ( which were the best I ever had!) and my husband had the mushroom melt burger, with the chili cheese fries, and being from Detroit the Chilly needs some work, it was ok.Overall, the service was good and fast, and keep in mind the inside dining area is very small it's a historical home, but very nice and quaint. We will definitely return when we visit the area again.”
“Wallah one of the best Palestinian dishes served in the state of Michigan. From living in almost every corner and center within the state (including Dearborn), I have not had tasted middle eastern food so authentic yet true to the new generation of Palestinians. The servers and chefs were great, nice people who were down to sit and talk. I also ordered a caramel latte, and I truly mean it when I say, this coffee was so tasty so delicious, I can’t ever step foot in another coffee shop again. None will compare. Please trust me when I say, you NEED to go here.”
“Best Mexican food around. We live on the east side of TC & drive to Interlochen for Mexican food. Good prices & amount of food Staff is always pleasant. Facility is clean.”
“Visiting Traverse City this weekend with my husband for his birthday weekend Saigon.Red Ginger, what an experience. Sarah our server is more than just a server. She treat us like we were family. If you are visiting the area you must hit this restaurants from the atmosphere, to the welcoming Spirit at the door to the last bite was amazing. Keep up the wonderful culture.”
“Taproot is awesome. Very vegan and allergen friendly. They don’t use any soybean oil (they use olive oil!), which is so rare and awesome for soy allergies. Farm-to-table food, healthy and delicious. Family friendly too. They really go the extra mile to make things from scratch, especially their desserts!”
“Good food and good service! Your classic bar fare with plenty of options - I had the Haystack burger with a side of onion rings which was excellent. Generous portions with plenty leftover! We came in with a larger group and were immediately sat and accommodated.”
“A great addition to downtown! We got a cake batter, chocolate chip, kitchen sink and snickerdoodle cookie. All delicious, large and warm (total cost: 15$). For us, the cake batter and chocolate chip were our favorites.”
“I loved the fact that they had testers, this made it better to pick what milk tea we wanted. I usually hesitate at trying new teas but we got the mongo milk tea tester and ended up getting it. The worker was vey helpful with helping us order.”
“Friendly, busy, and crowded place with delicious food and a fun atmosphere. We were lucky enough to get a booth as during our stay tables and booth did not stay empty for more than a minute! Definitely, this restaurant has everything right!!”
“What a wonderful brunch experience! The waitress was excellent. We had a 4 year old with us. She suggested we order for him while she was getting our drinks. So smart. He had pancakes and some of the best bacon in TC. We had brunch drinks (Kentucky Bourbon Coffee-yum! Irish Coffee-yum! And a morning mimosa buck-yum!). Breakfast was huge and delicious. We had the stuffed tomato filled with goat cheese and pancetta topped with eggs. Plus a basil sauce. So good. Came with fried potatoes. Too big to eat in one setting. We also had their omelet which was filled with lots of good stuff. Lastly their chicken Benedict. Everything was excellent. Cool vibe. Great service. Absolutely will come again.Kid-friendliness: Great waitress. She made sure our 4 year old was well taken care of.”
“One of the best places in Downtown TC to get a quick bite. They have a lot of really inventive and creative crepes. The inside of the place is well thought out and decorated. People are super nice!”
“Amazing burgers and fries. I had the Hula slider and it was absolutely amazing. I am always skeptical about pineapple on a burger and saturating the bun. This was perfect and absolutely delicious. I'm still dreaming out about it a few days later!”
“Service and food are great. Lobster soup is delicious. Tarter sauce has that extra zing to it, plenty to dip your fries in if you don't slather your fish in it. And please, use the lemon wedge, makes a world of difference on your fish.Dietary restrictions: Only seafood served is the lobster soup, if you have a shellfish allergy, no need to worry, none getting dropped in their fryers.Parking: Depending on the day/time, you may have a hard time with parking.”
