“They blew a transformer the night we were there. We had wine, salad, and soup. They were very apologetic. But the situation was out of their control. What we had was very good. They asked us to come back the next night. But it was our last night in Taverse City. We would try it again.“

“Terrific food and service! My mom had the potato soup and house salad. I had the sirloin steak and house salad. They were great about our special preparation
requests (no seasoning on the meat, no dressing on Mom's salad, double dressing for mine). Food was on the table fast and exactly as requested. Our server was just so thoughtful. He treated us like queens. He even held the door open for my elderly Mom and me when we left. Ask for Bobby!“

“I've been going here since the 70s, no better prime rib anywhere. The staff are all great, like family, but Debbie is our favorite. I give them a solid 4+ but would take it to 5 if they would ever bring the salad bar back. Love this place.“
