Mode's Bum Steer Reviews
I've been going here since the 70s, no better prime rib anywhere. The staff are all great, like family, but Debbie is our favorite. I give them a solid 4+ but would take it to 5 if they would ever bring the salad bar back. Love this place.
This is what a restaurant should excellent food TOP SHELF CUSTOMER SERVICE I just can't say enough good things about this place
The food was delicious, and the Shrimp De Jonghe was full of flavor. My only complaint is the portion size. Considering the price ($40), I was surprised that the meal included only five shrimp. One other thing to keep in mind is that the atmosphere can be pretty rowdy. During our visit, there were several visibly intoxicated patrons, which took away from the overall dining experience.

Mode's Bum Steer is a restaurant that serves generous portions of flavorful food. The prime rib dip sandwich and escargot remain popular choices, while the Porterhouse steak is a standout dish that many consider the best they've had in a long time. The waitresses are veterans, taking care of customers' needs, enhancing the dining experience. Mode's Bum Steer has an atmosphere that feels authentic and grounded, a cigar-bar feel old fashioned steakhouse. This steakhouse is not trying to reinvent the wheel; it focuses on delivering properly charbroiled cuts and real service. With good food and exceptional service, Mode's Bum Steer is a satisfying dining experience and a landmark in the community. The menu is limited but they’ve perfected everything on it; if you value quality steaks, this is a must. If you're lucky enough to come while they're serving potato skins, get them.
