“I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the best pizza I think I've ever had. Also, the staff was super nice. If I ever come back to Traverse City, I'll definitely try to remember to eat here again”
“This was a nice place of respite. The ciders were good, the views were incredible, and the staff were very nice. I wish they had food available when we went. Otherwise it was a great experience!”
“One of the best Mexican food in town! They’re at the little fleet for December and we tried their special torta, it was AMAZING my husband and I kept talking about it all day! Follow them on instagram to always know where they are!”
“This restaurant is very good. The service was excellent. Calamari appetizer was fairly good. My salmon entree with risotto was very good. The salmon had a nice glaze on it and a very tasty crumble which added flavor. My second trip had a delicious salmon chowder, bacon wrapped shrimp which had a great flavor to it, and a very tasty and tender short rib. My partner got prime rib dip and smoked chicken Gouda pasta and was very pleased. You won’t regret coming here. Only thing I’m not a fan of was the side salad (house or Caesar) - just a normal, simple plate of lettuce with a few toppings, but it is $9. Way too expensive.”
“Wow! We are from Florida and just stopped in to give Osorio a try. Super great authentic taste. Fast and friendly service with a small but great atmosphere. A must-have if visiting Williamsburg, MI.”
“This place was great!! We had low expectations being that it was after 1:30am in a casino but it was the only thing open. The chili cheese fries and fish and chips were great!! The workers were so friendly even though it was close to closing time. And we ended up coming back the next day to eat there again during the day even though we had other choices because the food was as good as and it was good again! We will be back.”
“I'm a little late it writing this review but it needs to written. The service at this restaurant was one of the best experiences I have yet had.Everything on the menu looked so good that I couldn't decide what to order. The chef came out and offered to make a seven course dinner with his choice of different menu options and wine pairings so that I could try as much food as possible. It was a night to remember, thank you!”
“We dined at Burbon early Friday evening and were very impressed starting with being seated immediately to our server Aaron, who was extremely kind and delivered outstanding service. We had the filet that was delicious and perfectly cooked as well as the half rack of ribs and fries. We had the french onion soup for an appetizer and it was yummy. Really outstanding meal all the way around!”
“Great place for dinner and drinks. Nice view of the east arm of Traverse Bay. The booths are great but it would be cool to see a few of the regular tables turned to high tops.”
“The staff was friendly and working hard. Only 3 staff on shift on a busy Sunday morning. Took a half hour for the food. It was good and they actually gave us some extra food for the long wait. We will give them another try in the future!”
“Indulgence meets perfection at the Boathouse in Traverse City! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a warm ambiance and breathtaking waterfront views that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The surf and turf with filet mignon and lobster tail surpassed all expectations, delivering a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. Each bite was a testament to culinary mastery, with the tender filet mignon perfectly complemented by the succulent lobster tail. It was a gastronomic delight that left us craving for more. The backdrop of the waterfront added an extra layer of charm to our evening, creating a serene and picturesque setting that enhanced our dining pleasure. The combination of delicious cuisine and stunning scenery made for a truly magical evening that we will cherish for years to come. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. If you're looking for an exceptional dining destination in Traverse City, look no further than the Boathouse. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience that will leave you with memories to savor long after the last bite. We just booked our hotel for this upcoming 4th of July and look forward to visiting again. Doug Kosch and the team know what they are doing! ~Steve Darragh”
“Ernest is so sweet and very attentive. We had a bachelorette crew have some wine flights and froze’s and he made us feel celebrated! Such a great personality and very friendly. The wine was great as well but Ernest really made the experience special!”
“Great local spot with good pizza and wonderful staff! I came in starving waiting for a to go pizza and the hostess and bartender hooked me up with popcorn and a water while I waited. Will definitely be back when I’m not hangry. :)”
“The best restaurant I know, are driveshaft broke in the middle of the intersection and we had to tow are big suv to the parking lot they had while me and my siblings went inside bro use the bathroom they told us that if we needed anything to let them know and gave us waters and let us sit down and chill until we got the car towed, you guys truly have the best staff team and your manager/ or owner was AMAZING. If I ever come by there I’ll stop by and get some food. Also this restaurant is the most amazing small town place and it’s older and feels homey and cozy :) 100% the best!!”
“Blown away by the flavors that are absorbed in the doughs! Real apples in the fritters, sweet cherries for the danishes, nice crisp on the out sides of the doughnuts and Hugh smiles from the ladies behind the counter. People are always coming and going from the shop so hurry in before they run out!”
“The staff seems eager to please and the setting is very comfortable and pleasing with a nice outdoor seating area also. I do hope for a larger menu with more vegan offerings and consistency. Please keep your prices reasonable or I'll put you in the "overpriced tourist category" in the future! I'm happy to see more lunch and dinner offerings but only wish they were offered more than on weekends. I'd be here as a regular then! Keep it simple and fresh and affordable!”
“We did the winter flight pass in Old Mission Peninsula and visited 9 of the 10 wineries on the list. This was our absolute favorite! It's fairly clear why they are in many major retailers, plus the price is beyond reasonable. Our new favorite MI made wine.”
“Just on a whim we stopped hungry after a long motorcycle ride. This was the best pizza we have had in a long long time. Cute place to have an eat in, and very happy, friendly service. I had to write a review because every good thing deserves one!”
“Great place, we only had ice cream. It cost $16 for a small and medium ice cream, which seems high even for a tourist town. Staff was friendly, and great view of the bay.”
“I loveeee the sandwiches here, my family makes it a point of coming every year we're on the peninsula. U customize which is very fun, and the bread and spreads are great. I do wish they had a vegetarian protein option, but otherwise it is perfect”
“We were in town for the polar Express and stopped in for a bite, the staff were very friendly and kind and the pizza was phenomenal. Great place to stop on and fill your belly definitely will not disappoint.”
“Old mansion has some ghostly tails which may not even be true after all. With that said that place ghost’s stories or not is still a spooky place. No one has a bad thing to say about the food or the drinks. Staff is great , very helpful.”
“We had a wonderful time tubing on New Year’s Eve! The staff went the extra mile, were fun and hardworking and made the night a great experience. Thanks for the memories!”
“We asked for vegetarian loaded nachos which was okaish but the chips were crispy! Mac and cheese was delicious a little gravy or cheese could have tasted better. Overall good food and draft beers. I’d recommend this place for vegetarian ?”
“My wife and I were heading back from our day trip through the Old Mission Peninsula wine trail when we had to make a special stop at Bonobo. We found out from the girl at the bar that we had just missed Carter by a couple hours but nonetheless we enjoyed our glasses of Merlot and Riesling with our complimentary glasses. The atmosphere inside was very warm and welcoming. We'll definitely be back in the summer/fall when the outside patio will be open back up!”
“Best side salad I've seen in a very long time. Perfect topings and salad variety.Your Ribs where delicious ?Great flavor and perfect smoke and cook on them.Paired with a pinot nior and it made for an amazing meal.”
“For more than 50 years the Town Club has been serving Elk Rapids fine good and drink. The renovation is fantastic, modern with small town charm. Just had dinner 4/24/23, still great. Try the Home Run burger!”
