Polish Countryside Kitchen Reviews
We eat Polish food. Often. We cook Polish food. Often. We have been to Polish restaurants across the country. My 83 year old Mother said Polish Countryside Kitchen was THE BEST Polish food she has had since her family dinners in Chicago as a child. (Said the Polish sausage was The Best EVER!)
She’s a hard critic to please, nice job! We will make the drive up again.
We tried just about everything on the menu and every bite was beyond delicious. You can taste the care and love that went into each item. Worth a drive to get there. I’ll be back!
We travel to Glen Lake from Gettysburg, PA every year and we always stop at Polish Countryside Kitchen for some awesome food! Love, love, love!!!

The Polish Countryside Kitchen is a charming restaurant known for its authentic Polish cuisine and fresh, nutritious options. They offer a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options like pierogi, bigos soup, and sides such as sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and rye bread. The family-friendly atmosphere features kid-friendly activities and a food truck experience with fun music and flowers on the tables. Visitors are welcomed by a friendly staff who can provide recommendations.
The restaurant's cozy environment, generous portions, and delicious meals like golabki and schnitzel make it a favorite among many. The owners raise their own pork, and the soups, especially pickle soup, are highly praised. The restaurant is open from Friday to Monday, offering a perfect spot for a hearty, authentic Polish meal in Cedar.
Customers have praised the restaurant's friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional Polish dishes. One customer felt "blessed" to try the fantastic pierogi, while another customer's 83-year-old mother declared it the best Polish food she had since her family dinners in Chicago as a child. The Polish sausage was also praised as the best ever. Customers have also enjoyed chatting with the owner/farmer, Tom, and have been impressed by the beautifully cooked pierogi and the delicious kielbasa and sauerkraut.
