My family and I had a wonderful time at torch lake cafe. The food was amazing, we were very happy with all of our selections. Our service was wonderful, I can’t remember our servers name but she did a great job. The entertainment was also awesome! The owner of the restaurant is the entertainment, I thought that was very cool. My sister has a 3 year old and he was dancing away in the front row.We will return to try more of the menu. There are limited restaurant options in this area, and it’s nice to know that this place is a total stand out.

We have been to this restaurant for years, in the summer and winter, the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, the decor, the outdoor seating in the summer and the service is great especially Harris as he has served us many times. The food is also really good. Sadly the reason we have given only 3 stars is because it is virtually impossible to hear each other. The live music is just too load. We cannot have any conversation whatsoever at the table. It's even hard to hear the person next to you. It's a shame because we have heard the same from friends of ours about going there. We want to continue going but the music needs to be turned down
This place has been a disaster since they opened. Service is always slow. Food is supposed to be fancy but isn’t. Some of their music is okay but then sometimes you want in on “Elvis Night” and they want you to pay a $100 cover. We keep going back to try to support local, but we’re done.

Tasty lunch we took Mom for her 66th birthday. Key lime pie was delicious. As were other desserts. The nachos were disgusting, they did take them back and take them off the bill. Looks like they have live music there often I'm hoping to get back to see some live music.

A Charlevoix Friend
After a last minute change in Thanksgiving dinner plans, I ordered two turkey dinners from Torch Lake Cafe. I picked them up on Wednesday afternoon and only had to reheat (instructions were included). The turkey, mashed and sweet potatoes, green beans, dressing, rolls, gravy and cranberry sauce were exceptional! Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned and prepared with the kind of care you would do for yourself. And the best part? We even have leftovers!It will be time very soon to dine-in and enjoy live entertainment and cheerful Christmas decorations!Thank you, Torch Lake Cafe for always providing top-notch service and meals!

I’d love to leave a review about the food, but unfortunately after waiting close to an hour, watching every table around us get served, we paid for our appetizer (white fish dip, not impressed at all) and left. We are famished after a day of traveling and would have loved to eat dinner, but apparently it’s not going to be here. We might as well have been invisible. I’m really disappointed with our experience. Terrible
