Dined at the Blue Pelican. The food was excellent. It was nice to have live music on the patio. Service was excellent. They worked well together. We really enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere. We will be back.
First off, you are central to many attractions, Torch Lake being one of them. Second, for what you pay, this is a steal. Do you have a TV in your room and are they bright and airy? No. Past that, you have a restaurant downstairs that is fantastic, a super easy check-in process, wi-fi, a common room to use, and you are a literal 3 minute walk from downtown. This was a last minute reservation. We literally called them on our way. We called to reserve because when we tried online it went through arbnb and they couldn't confirm. And it was $45 cheaper! The staff was the friendliest. There is a restaurant downstairs. There is food for breakfast in a fridge so the time doesn't matter. This was our 2nd stay. The rooms are gorgeous, not cramped. It is quiet, and anywhere you need to go is only a couple of blocks to walk.
