We have a place nearby and visit downtown frequently, so we've stopped in several times. I was genuinely surprised by how lacking the customer service was. Even though it was only May and not yet the busy season, the woman at the counter seemed uninterested in engaging with customers and came across as unfriendly.

Great atmosphere. Very clean shop. I can't give five stars across the board because this place is TOO DARN EXPENSIVE and prices are not listed. In my mind, this is a disservice to customers. Their famous hand pies are tasty and about the size of a large muffin - but $12.50?!? I could have had a proper plated breakfast elsewhere for the $25 I spent on two snacks and a tea.

Service could be better though - the young man who took our order must not have been paying attention as we ordered 4 drinks - they got three of them wrong - language barrier maybe as they were not entered correctly on the terminal?
The girls who prepared the drinks, didn't really offer a good solution to the issue when the orders were clearly missed.
