About Lost Cellars

Lost Cellars is a fantastic winery and distillery offering a comfortable atmosphere with delicious wines and spirits. The friendly and helpful staff assist in selecting the perfect drink. Visitors can enjoy a wine tasting, often paired with fabulous pizza from the wood-fired oven, which many find excellent. The cozy indoor space provides a warm and inviting environment, while the outdoor area, once warmer, is expected to be equally enjoyable. Parking is hidden behind trees, giving visitors a true up north experience, though the lack of handicapped space can be challenging. The owners are a nice couple who create engaging hospitality, making guests feel welcomed from the moment they arrive. Recent visitors have especially enjoyed the wine, pizza, and the filet Brie board, which has become a favorite. Restrooms are expected to be complete soon, with only a porta potty currently available. Overall, Lost Cellars promises a memorable visit with opportunities to discover new favorites like Riesling and Cab Franc.

This place is one of our favorite local spots. The owners are often there working hard and chatting with their customers. Hands down the BEST pizza we have all ever had (party of 3). They have incredible gelato drinks and good wine and cocktails. Thanks Jay & Lora for creating and working hard in such a magical spot. They also have a short term rental available on their property and you can book the winery for private events.

We took advantage of their Harvest host for 3 days to explore the area. They get 10 stars from us for hospitality, wines, music and entertainment. Their pizza is amazing and the spinach artichoke dip wonderful.

What a great place to stay and enjoy your evenings while exploring Charlivoix, beaver island and Petosky.
It is very close to Fisherman's Island state park. With a 45 foot tag axel this was actually the only place we found close by for our Beaver Island tour....read full review
