We were visiting Upper Michigan with friends and we stumbled upon The Landing Restaurant. Great atmosphere right on the water, our waitress was considerate and knowledgeable, and the food was AWESOME! Highly recommend the PBJ waffle fries while there. The lobster roll was one of the best I have had, with TONS of big lobster pieces that wasn’t covered up with the extra ingredients that make a lobster roll. Oh so good!
We stopped at The Landing for lunch while out on a Poker Run. We were greeted with happy smiling staff. One of the servers asked for us to be seated in her section as she loves bikes. The food was GREAT, but the STAFF and the ATMOSPHERE were OUTSTANDING!! The manager cared for her employees and was just as much of a delight as the rest of the staff! Working for an airline, I did crazy things like flying to Boston for a Lobster Roll, flying to Maine for a Lobster Roll. Who would have guessed the very best of the best was right here in Michigan?! The Landing wins! Great view. Great service (Hailey). Great food. It just doesn’t get any better than this! The Landing will be part of all future trips UpNorth. We just happened to stumble upon it and we are so glad we did. Highly recommend. Enjoy!
