My family and I went to the Charlotte Michigan Big Boy today for lunch. I admit that it has been a little bit since my last visit. I am very glad that we went today. I had the Country Fried Chicken dinner, and I loved it! The portion was delicious, hot, and quite generous. The waitress, whom I failed to get her name, did a fantastic job. She was very attentive and kept our drinks full. I'm looking forward to going to the Charlotte Big Boy again real soon.
I wanted to thoroughly enjoy this restaurant when I brought my young boys here because of it's history, nostalgia, and memories that I had of this chain as a child...but like many great chains of the past, this one too has lost it's way. Initially I asked if we could sit near a window but the waitress declined to do so as that side of the restaurant was already cleaned for closure eventhough it was only 3:00 p.m. Our waitress was kind and patient with our boys and...
During this visit the waitress was very kind and timely but when she went to cash me out the manager on duty was very snotty and rude to the waitress saying about the hot food goes first before anything so I told the waitress go ahead I can wait but the level of rudness was unreal there's a better way to handle things be a team player not a drill Sargent
