A buffet arranged for a large party of almost 50 travelers. Consensus was homemade bread, grilled vegetables, and trio of entrees (smothered chicken rice, shrimp linguini, and stuffed beef with mushrooms) was best of our weeklong trip so far. Two servers and occasionally the owner kept up with the multiple tables who were engaged in animated conversations. Evening passed enjoyably.
Atmosphere is beautiful. Service was good, food, I thought was pretty bland. I had the homemade chicken Alfredo and my entire table tried it, and we all agreed there was no flavor to the food at all. My family had the fried fish, same thing.
We really enjoy this little diner. We have never been disappointed. The Lake Perch is my husband's favorite. He gets it pan fried. I have gotten the build your burger with the mini combo basket. Delishes.
