One of the best little secrets. On the Cheboygan River, this iconic cabin restaurant from the early 1900s, is amazing. Many memories have been created here. Pull up by the seawall and dock your boat, hop off and enjoy an amazing meal, with a nostalgic atmosphere. Shhh don’t tell too many of your friends.! 🥰
We started out at the north winds motel, but had to switch to sunrise. Because north Wind motel had to switch to sunrise because north wind had no hot water.They were supposed to be an indoor heated pool.There was a pool, but not heated, had sand in it.There was also a hot tub that had sand all over in it and did not work
Love the atmosphere, service is friendly and quick. Food was delicious, French onion soup was the best I ever had, white fish dip was at the top too, they don't put mostly cream cheese like most places so. Loved the white fish dinner, fish tasted like it just got caught, tartar sauce was the best I ever had. Strawberry cheesecake was really good. I can see why this restaurant was voted most iconic restaurant in Michigan.
