I like to try local restaurants when traveling Hoppies Tavern did not disappoint me. We had delicious cheese steak rolls for appetizer and piergoie sauted in onions with butter. The cup of soups French onion and Asparagus Lentil were very good and very large. The house salad was good size. The flank steak was a good size with flavored cubed slightly fried potatoes and broccoli. A nice dinning room with good service
What’s fun little place. After being turned away from a local steak house because we had shorts and Tahiti’s on. We found your place. The staff was great food was good and just enjoyed looking around at all the gear on the walls.
Wow. We stayed across the street from Hoppie's. Boy were we lucky. The food was so good, we walked there every day. I especially recommend the wet burrito. It was by far the best one that I have ever had. I'm trying to duplicate it at home, but it's not there yet.
