We just recently discovered Lakehouse Bakery and decided to take the Christmas in Germany baking class. It was the best cooking class we’ve ever taken and we have tried multiple places! Keegan was super friendly and an awesome teacher. We will FOR SURE be back to take other classes! We made a dessert bread and 2 kinds of cookies and we had plenty to take home and share. We of course had to purchase some other goodies(breads, pasties, etc.) as we were leaving and they did not...
The four of us camped at Waterloo State Rec Area over thanksgiving and stopped in to The Lakehouse Bakery on a whim. The owner (?) was personable and chatted with us at length and we had a great visit. We love to support small business and we indulged in baked treats and pasties and pot pies and the absolute best pumpkin pie I have had in years! Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!
Visited The Lakehouse Bakery today for the French Macaron class and lunch! I contacted Keegan in August for information related to his classes for a Team building event. Working with a limited Budget, Keegan worked with me to determine the best class and lunch that would be within our budget. Keegan and his TEAM knocked it out of the park. Keegan - a Pastry Chef for 30 years - certainly knows his craft, and was able to teach our group with ease.
