Clear Lake Grill

Was recommended by a friend to check out Clear Lake Diner and it certainly did not disappoint! The atmosphere is great, I love the decor and it is super homey. The wait staff was amazing and the food was excellent!!! Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Pretty massive upgrade since the new ownership/management change in November. Think high quality diner food coupled with attentive and cheerful service lacking any pretension. This restaurant is almost halfway between Ann Arbor and Jackson, and prices reflect that. Maybe a little high for Jackson, but definitely on the low end for A2, Dexter, Chelsea, etc. Also, it's worth noting that they source a large portion of their ingredients from local Michigan farms. Friends and I stopped in after a long hike on the Waterloo-Pinckney Trail. This was my first time a the restaurant. I found out it recently reopened after changing owners and is in the process of rebranding. My food, salad and wings were pretty good, but pricey.
