Good homemade food, friendly people, convenient location, plenty of space for our 10-person group in a sunny, window-lined side room. All for a fair price, can't beat that! Manager Larry was very helpful in planning for our family gathering, though they don't take reservations. Sit down ordering, single or individual receipts. Would definitely go again, when back in the area.
Typical diner atmosphere. Retro iron decor. Plenty of parking with handicap at the door. I’ve been here many times for breakfast and I have never been disappointed with my choices. I went in for Tuesday $2 Coneys to go with a salad. Reviewing the menu, the female supervisor yanks it out of my hand;”anything else?” Shocked, I yanked it back, “no!” Very disappointed in her behavior as the wait staff has always been exceptionally friendly and courteous over the many years...
Beware... Chicago Dog not what you'll expect!! Not the correct buns, no celery salt, and tomato diced instead of halves, NO sport peppers instead substituting jalapenos, and no pickle spears or bright green relish. On the good side this place is kept spotless and staff are wonderful!! Cashier's didn't really care to hear any feedback!
