My first time here was yesterday Friday April 5th. I’m a little disappointed for a $17 cake, it was all stuck to the wrapper. Lost the whole outside of the cake. I was unaware this cake was only one layer. It’s THIN! I also wasn’t told this cake has raisins in it. Everybody was very nice, but I did feel rushed & they didn’t explain or tell me anything about the cake other than “it’s really good.” lol.

This is my first and last time ordering from Achatz. I ordered Easter pies. A fruit pie and a cream pie. I paid for the pies online with my card, when I went in store on my scheduled pickup time, I was told by one of the women working in the store that they had sold one of the pies that I had already purchased online. Absolutely unacceptable in my eyes, I paid for a product and they sold it. Will definitely be telling friends and family not to shop here.**Edit after eating the food**The flavors and freshness were absolutely amazing, the desserts were so delicious, just have a bad taste in my mouth after a product i paid for was sold out from under me.
Delicious pie! I loved the Michigan 4-Berry and the Strawberry Rhubarb. Great place to stop by on a Tuesday to load up the belly before visiting Stahl's!

I had people from out of town come in I went there on Tuesday the fifth to pick up a pie. I got a four Barry Michigan pie and the whole bottom crust was stuck to the pan. I was so embarrassed, scraping the bottom of a piece of pie off the pan never again. And I will be sharing my experience with all my friends that go there. They need to straighten their butts out.

We haven't been here in a while and we thought a pie would be nice. The woman behind the counter asked if I knew what I wanted and when I told her apple, she said, "Oh I have fresh apple for you", this was definitely not fresh. I already knew they were overpriced but this was $19 and let me say this is not even worth $9. It's small, the crust is white and flavorless, the apple filling is pure mush and very little apple flavor. Needless to say we won't be back, I'll stick with Blake's, they are cheaper and better.

A little pricey and hard to find this location but the quality and taste are amazing! I got 3 slices to share with a friend and they were all so good. I think i enjoyed the coconut creme pie the most :)
I'm going to start by saying it was first my fault. I forgot to pick up my pies on Easter. But after that it's totally on them. I went up there 3 times. I ordered a pumpkin pie and a 1/2 four berry pie. Every time I went to there they told me to come in the next day. Well today was the third time. And the girl said she told me Sunday. I'm like no you told me today. She gets the manager Renee who I guess lines to argue with customers and play the victim. They offered me a frozen pie . I'm like no I want it fresh. I'll take the 1/2 4 berry. But instead of giving me the 4 Berry they gave me my money back. I'll never order online with them again!! Renee if you are reading this quit playing the victim and figure out something went wrong on your end. I'll go to Grand Traverse Pie Company from now on.

My only Achatz experience is their chicken pot pie I bought today from a grocery store. I like some gravy in a pot pie. Maybe that's unusual, because it's hard to find among the not-frozen/fresh selections out there. This one was no different; no gravy at all, and too dry. This is much more like a pasty, in my humble opinion. So, more gravy and then you'll have something there. Two Stars Could've been better.
