This isn't Wendy's Achatz. Prices are way up & quality is not what it used to be. It's way better than Blakes & that really isn't saying much. I'm still weary of their pot pies. I've bought rotten lobster pies & pies with no meat. I wouldn't even consider one.
Our first order at Achatz. The worst cherry pie ever. Threw it out, no taste, very disappointed. The hand held apple was very good and pumpkin hand held was just ok. Will not be going back.
Always good....the Cannoli pie is my favorite(always get a slice) I did get the pumpkin hand pie as well, the girl frosted it for me as they had been cooling. I think I would like it better without the frosting. Other than that it was delicious, I loved the sticky caramelized edges.
