Long story short…I was berated, insulted, screamed at, among other things. I ordered three pies for the day before Thanksgiving. I called on Monday to see if I could pick them up on Tuesday because there was a bad storm coming into where I was going. The lady I spoke to on the phone could not confirm so she transferred me to a manager. The manager did not give her name when she answered the phone and she was very pleasant so I didn’t even think to ask. She said it would be no problem for me to pick them up on Tuesday instead of Wednesday. She even asked me what time I would like to get them and I said 10:00, but changed it to 12. She said we’ll go ahead and get them ready at 10 just to be safe. I showed up around 12 noon and the above happened. Because they made a mistake and didn’t have my pies ready and could not apologize and just left me standing there with no explanation as to who or what I was waiting for. I have never been treated like that. How would you feel if someone yelled at your grandmother like that. So disrespectful! God doesn’t like ugly.

Cops & Doughnuts Headquarters in Clare has been on my list of places to visit for the past several years! Today! Did It! 7:25AM… We found a parking spot on the street out front. C&D’s has three parts to it: We entered on the left part, the Gift Shop (T-shirts and such), then walked back and to the right to enter the Bakery (the middle part) where we browsed the deliciousness behind the glass to make our Box Order. Loved the personality and helpfulness of the woman that accommodated us this morning! She made our experience even better! We loaded up our box and asked for a coffee. We took our box of morning treats and coffee to the third part, the right side, the restaurant area to sit and enjoy the goods! The restaurant side, the right side/part with a high ceiling, was loaded with law enforcement memorabilia! Uniforms, patches, thousands of police uniform patches, photos, stories, tables and chairs, and booths to sit at as well. Get your Mug Shot taken! Get your photo “behind bars.” Find the map and add your pin to the city you live. What a cool place! We are so happy that we were able to finally visit Cops & Doughnuts Headquarters! The BACON covered Cinnamon Rolls and the BACON covered Long Johns… BIG FAN! As a matter of fact, we enjoyed everything we ordered. I wish I lived closer so that I could eat my way through each and every bakery treat made here. LOVE THIS PLACE! THANK YOU! Cheers from your North Dakota Fans!

Donuts were stale and the apple fritter was burnt and hardly had any apple in it. Elephant ear was hard as a rock. Sorry we stopped. Lady who waited on us was a grump. Don't recommend. Won't go back

This place is separated into 3 sections. The 1st section is a tourist trap with clothes, jams, jerky, and other things. The 2nd section has the donut cases. The last section has seating to enjoy your bakery goods. I ordered a box of Cinnamon rolls ($8.49), a large chocolate chip cookie ($2), a twist donut made cinnamon roll style ($2.29), and lastly a strawberry bismark ($2). The Bismarck was very good, the twist was good, but the box of Cinnamon rolls was by far the best thing  Not in my top 5, but definitely in my top 10. The cookie I sadly did not like. It just had an odd taste, I couldn't place. I ended up tossing it. The service was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? Yes, but I wouldn't go outta my way.

Ordered donuts February 20th to be shipped to a friend here in Michigan. As of today she still hasn't received. Very disappointed, horrible service on Cops & Doughnuts behalf. Nothing like getting stale donuts.

We stopped a couple weeks ago for our first time and got some doughnuts a cookie and a cherry pie. Today we stopped just to get a cherry pie and of course they were gone.😔 We did get what we thought was strawberry or raspberry.... turned out to be lemon.... Who puts pink sprinkles on a lemon pie.... smh

10_17_2024 My girlfriend and I ate here for the first time. What a bakery started by Michigan Police man. Super good donuts and souvenirs. We had an amazing time in the store and outside. Donuts were filling and great. We ate on them for two or three days. ???????????????.

We stopped in, on our way up north. We each got a coffee. I got a turtle brownie with pecans and caramel, my wife got a caramel apple fritter( fall seasonal item). Everything was delicious and the coffee was HOT!! Great little stop with gift shop to get out and stretch.
