A classic gem in my home town of Michigan chicken shack will always be my go to for that fried Chicken and potato wedges. Always fresh and taste great.
Not as good the last 3 times going there. Chicken is smaller and lacking seasoning. I keep trying, hope whoever is doing the seasoning goes back to what they were doing. They also should check out getting a new chicken supplier, last time we got all dark meat the drum sticks were the size of a small wing! The thighs were very small also.I love this place, but 3 times in about 4 months I have trouble going back each time.
Brought my friend from out of state here after bragging about how great chicken shack is. Unfortunately, the man behind the register ruined our experience - brunette with overgrown beard and "B" tattoo on his right forearm and reaper tattoo on his left forearm - he was so incredibly rude to both me and my friend, and the woman behind us. He seemed to treat the cook poorly, too. After rushing us through our order and acting as though we weren't intelligent because we needed to look at the menu - again, my friend's first time ever at a chicken shack - he also lied about the price of a meal versus what we ordered which lead to both of us overpaying - we realized after sitting down and doing the math afterwards. My recommendation is for him to leave the service industry and go into a line of work that allows him to be grouchy in private and not customer facing. I hope the other employees can find somewhere else to work to get away from him. We've both worked in the service industry for 10+ years so we understand it can be frustrating but to treat paying customers like that in an empty restaurant is wild behavior.

The food and service were amazing. Unfortunately it's so expensive that we have to make it a once a year extravagance. We have a family of three, with two of them having big appetites. So for us it's very expensive. Plus, we live an hour away from our nearest Chicken Shack ?. But, we always look forward to our next year Chicken Shack run!
Straight white trash manager...don't know what she's doing...how's about u don't hire white trash meth heads for your manager...???...wish I could give 0 stars...she was probably just wanting her fix...?♂️?♂️?♂️...worst manager ever that tells you that you lied about what you order, um no I know what I ordered and you repeated it back...???
Poor customer service, workers lying on the counter were food is served. Worker drop my chicken on ground, picked it up and put it in the box, I question him about an he lied in my face. This use to be a good place sense the other manager left it has went downhill.

My family ordered about $200 worth of food to go from this location. Sadly, they forgot our two orders of fries. We were located about 30 miles from the restaurant, so we were upset that we had to make a drive back (luckily we had guests who were coming from the same area to our house who were able to pick up the fries). I feel that the ordering process and customer service needs improvement. When calling in the order, it was a robot on the line which made communication take much longer than necessary. Additionally, the restaurant did not apologize or give any compensation for forgetting part of our order. A sorry would've been nice! The food itself was grease heavy, but it's Chicken Shack so it's expected. A little pricy for the quality of the food, but it's a very Michigan restaurant that one should experience at least once!
