Had breakfast at Mel’s Grill and it was excellent. The avo-cabo omelette was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right — exactly what you want to start the day. Friendly service and a solid, comfortable spot. Would definitely come back.
Stopped in with my wife and niece looking for breakfast the day after a concert. The staff was very friendly. The menu had many choices. Order came out in a matter of a few minutes. The biscuit and gravy was excellent, the coffee was hot, and most importantly the bacon for my wife and niece was extra crispy as they had requested ( crazy how many places still bring soft chewy bacon out when you ask for it to be extra crispy). First time dining here. Was excited to see they have gluten free bread/toast on the menu, but then disappointed to learn they don't have a dedicated toaster for gluten free breads. Completely negates the purpose of gluten free bread. A dedicated toaster is available for about $25 dollars and this would open up the menu for those who must be gluten free. Why pay $3.99 for gf bread to end up with several hours of severe vomiting?
