We went to the Hilltop Brewery for a special family night together. One of our children and her husband live in MI while we and our other child’s family live in KY. We rarely get to spend time together as a whole family. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:20 PM on a Friday. There was some sort of event going on in the parking lot. Our party consisted of 6 adults, one toddler, and two infants. We were immediately seated. We asked for one high chair and one stand for an infant car seat. This was not brought to the table until I asked again about 30 minutes later. Our server was somewhat slow about taking our order, he did not write anything down, which contributed to our later problem. About 45 minutes later the server came back to ask my husband what he had ordered. The server was extremely flippant throughout our wait and never even refilled my water. We waited over an hour and 20 minutes to be served and at 6:45 PM when none of us had been served one of our party, a nursing mother, had to leave in order to feed the baby. We asked for her food to be boxed. Soon after that, one kids meal and three of the adult meals were delivered to the table, this included the one we had asked to be boxed, which we had to do. Her husband ate quickly and left to take her food home. Three of the adults had still not received their food. My husband, who had ordered an appetizer and tater tots, did not receive his food until after 7:00 PM. At this point I asked to speak to a manager and was told that both managers were outside at the event, I waited another 10 minutes while my husband ate and was eventually told that no manager would be coming in to talk to me. The server did comp the three meals that were delivered 1 & 1/2 hours after we ordered, but what should have been an enjoyable family meal was ruined. I would not in any way recommend this establishment.

We recently hosted a retirement party here. Kara was fabulous to work with! She helped us with the menu and provided recommendations for food options and quantities. She made planning the event easy. Jill was our waitress during the event. She was very friendly and attentive. She checked in regularly with the guests and made sure that everything was running smoothly. Thank you Kara & Jill! We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out.

On our way back home from Frankenmuth, it was getting to be dinner time and I remembered this place from a few years ago and remembered having a good meal with good service as we were approaching the Clarkston area so my friend and I decided to stop in. Still a nice and friendly place, Lorraine was great. My friend and I both had a flight of beer each and calzones. The calzones were worth the wait, yeah it took some time but calzones usually take a little longer than regular pizza, very delicious and piping hot. Neither of us had a bad beer in the flights. The Mr. Hockey, Rammbock, and Pirate's Porter were probably my favorites but I will also recommend the $1000 Stout, Scottish Mild, Oktoberfest, Shaded Bloom, and Cerveza Dark.

My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Parker’s Hilltop Brewery, and it was absolutely fantastic! We worked with Kara, who helped us book the private room and coordinate our food selections. We had pizzas, mostacholi, rolls, and salad, and everything tasted incredible—our guests were very satisfied as well.
Kara was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with, answering all of my questions and making the process seamless. The service during our dinner was excellent, and we have also dined at Parker’s Hilltop before and are never disappointed. I highly recommend this brewery for any dining experience—the food, service, and atmosphere are always top-notch!

We worked with Kara, who helped us book the private room and coordinate our food selections. We had pizzas, pasta, rolls, and salad, and everything tasted incredible—our guests were very satisfied as well.
Kara was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with, answering all of my questions and making the process seamless. The service during our dinner was excellent, and we have also dined at Parker’s Hilltop before and are never disappointed. I highly recommend this brewery for any dining experience—the food, service, and atmosphere are always top-notch!
While back was a great place. Downhill since 7 years ago. Just not the best diner.

Edit: 2025 Sadly this location has not been able to keep up the fine dining level of food. Tonight's stroganoff was stingy on the mushrooms to the point of wondering if the chef thought they were truffles. When I could locate one, they were paper thin like it was dumped from the bottom of the box. The pasta was over done spiral rather than the lovely tagliatelle it used to have. The sauce was bland and a can of Campbell's would have been an improvement. I didn't even get a slice of bread on the side, not that there would have been any sauce for it. This is off my recommendation list.
2018: If you are even a tiny fan of beef stroganoff, then I implore you to order it here. Rich, and creamy, and served over perfectly cooked noodles with tender morsels of meat. Save that piece of baguette to mop up any sauce left at the end!
Also, trust the waitstaff when they suggest you get the carrot cake. Even if you're not normally a carrot cake person. I don't know what they're doing in that bakery, but it's being done right.

One of the best Steaks I've had in a long time. I was in Fort Worth texas a couple weeks ago and this blows away the steak I had down there. This smothered Rybeye was awesome. The Beer is great also.

My Wife and I just had dinner at Parker‘s Hilltop Brewery and it was phenomenal! Our server was Courtney and the service was impeccable! My wife had the fish tacos and I had the cheesesteak and tater tots, which were awesome!! We were so impressed that I asked for the manager, Kara, and she came right over and was great! I just retired as the longest standing board member of the Michigan Better Business Bureau, at 26 years… I would rate the food and the service at this restaurant, a big A+!!

Went for dinner, happy hours 4$ beers and apps. Got the tater tots truffle these could have cooked longer, the Asian cauliflower was good, ordered the smothered sirloin with mash potatoes and beans, steak cooked perfect, smooth creamy mash and fresh green beans cooked perfect. Good food and good beer.
