I had my birthday celebration at Sportmens Great Northern Grill. The owner Tom and manager Nicole made sure to make my day the most special! I was able to rent one side of the dining room. I was able to decorate my area however i wanted tables, balloons, and centerpieces etc.. Jen the waitress, was the kindest and so very thorough in the care and service for my family and friends. The bartenders Sam and Bri were super attentive to not only my party but the customers at the bar. Overall it was an amazing afternoon and i would certainly allow Sportsmens Great Northern Grill to host any event of mine in the future.
The attention of the bartenders at night was horrible. First I sat at the bar on the back side in the dining area. I sat there for about 8 minutes and saw a seat on the other side and moved. I sat near Michele there was a seat between us her husband went to the bathroom. I sat there for 5 minutes and then a gentleman came up next to me and the bartender with long darker hair asked if he needed anything he said yes it was a carry out and she helped him and cashed him out. Not once she asked me if she could help me. There was nothing in front of me. Then she noticed the couple on the other side of me and helped them. Then a couple sat next to me and she took a minute for her to get yo them. The clue was nice and we talked and they asked me how was I was doing and I said it would be nice if I can I get greeted. I told them exactly what happened and they said that was sad. Then the bartender with the long darker hair asked them can I help you and remind you I am right next to them with Nothing or a hi for 15 mins on this side. The gentleman man go you can help her first. I got my drink but not even an hi. Then she asked if I needed a menu and I Said yes please. Then she came back and asked me again if I needed a menu I said yes please 5 minutes went by still no menu. Then I finally got her attention and said I am hungry can I get food. He response was I am sorry I spacing out. Worst service ever and I do come the every now and then because the food and people are awesome. Both night bartenders noticed me but said nothing until the guest next to made them help me. I felt like I was not welcomed because I was the only single person thay I could sew. Customer Service is everything is so important and it sucked so bad. My friends want to try your place but I told them of my experience and they will else where. They should treat people they same hi or by and thanks for coming oh yeah I didn't get that. I am a single mom who works hard and at school district so my night out are rare. I should have been treated with respect and acknowledged. It sad I felt like I was nothing thanks to the bartenders. Word of mouth travels far and I am sad to say the service was awful. I won't be back because the service was awful but food and people were great

I've been there twice with my husband and both times we were very pleased. The service is on point and the place has a cozy atmosphere. Both times my husband got the meat lovers pizza and I got the black and blue burger. The pizza was the show-stopper and makes great leftovers. It is a massive, 18-inch pizza with that gooey, cheesy goodness and is absolutely loaded with toppings. The sausage is crumbly, which I really liked as well. I'm curious to try some of the other pizzas in the future. The cheese sticks are great, with a very flavorful and crunchy coating. The only issue I could find was with the burger I'm a huge burger person, so I had to give it a second chance, but it was somewhat lacking. I had ordered medium-rare both times we went and got more of a medium-well. Also it was a bit bland compared to what i'm used to for a black and blue burger and the grilled onions were a little mushier than normal. Overall we were very pleased though and i would recommend this bar for tasty food, good drinks, and great service. And oh, Get the pizza!

Food took forever to get and really wasnt that busy, ive seen it busier with better food quality. I ordered lemon butter shrimp with wine sauce, linguine and asparagus and received bland shrimp and noodles with alfredo sauce and the asparagus tasted old. My sister ordered fish fry which use to be really good but her ordered tasted like thick battered fried fished that was fried in old grease.

This place is near and dear to my heart, I don’t know any other place like it! Not only is the food always amazing, but the service is impeccable. No one has ever not agreed we have brought here. Our kids ❤️ love it! There is something for everyone! Never a bad dish! Owner is always out on the floor working and talking to guests. All the girls from the host to the waitresses are superb! Jen is a Rockstar! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and very comfy. I ❤️ would definitely tell you to try this much loved ?Gem!
