This is my favorite Greek coney-ish restaurant in Metro Detroit. Their grilled chicken is so freaking good. I asked them once what they marinate it in and they said it’s a family secret. They make everything from scratch. The servers are so sweet and attentive. Chicken lemon rice soup is also incredible. Gyros, salads, tzatziki - all amazing. Crispy fountain Diet Coke, iykyk. Whenever we are in Troy, we stop here for lunch. Thanks Apovini Grill!

Food was good, but the amount of sauerkraut made my hotdog bun soggy! Hardly any feta on my salad, & then I ask for a refill of coke, To Go, because I need to take my medicine, & she told me No I can't!! I asked why no cups, & she said, sorry no. It wasn't even my waitress, but then I saw cups on the counter. Thanks for my $3.20 pop!

This place has a salad that is absolutely fabulous, marinated chicken, bacon, tomato, chunks of swiss cheese, so flavorful!!! So good, and even the small is pretty filling!! That said, it is priced at 13.50 (reasonable), but the charge to chop it is 3.50 extra!! Comes with 3 oz of yummy house dressing. Upcharge for another 3 oz container is $2.00... so this salad for one, with a cup of lemon rice soup was $25... At a diner... $30 with a tip. That seems pricey to me. Of course, I did pay it, the salad is good. But I save it as a treat, not a regular. It's disappointing.

I feel bad for this place. Used to be packed at lunch when they first opened. I went there all the time. Covid messed everything up. Check them out. Food still good. Short staffed like everyone else. Exercise patience please.

Just stopped here after months of wanting to do so. I had their small Greek chicken salad! It’s huge! The vegetables all tasted fresh! The chicken was perfect and so was the dressing. These days, the quality at most restaurants (regardless of price range), is at best a 2/5 stars. Apovini is the exception to the rule! I work across the street and will by stopping by here more often! Absolutely amazing salad!
