We only bought sides. 2 of the 3 were not very good at all! Something was very off about the seasonings and spices. Nothing like the soulfood I'm used to. We won't return. On the upside, customer service as awesome.

I gave the food a 3, because I am being neutral. But the staff is rude. Very rude. They treat people like a bother and not "guests." I would not support a business that treats people like a bother from the second they walk in the door.

Drove 30 minutes to try this place yesterday only to be told we are closing early and not taking any more orders despite posted business hours, So I never got to try it but if this is my first experience I will never get the opportunity because I will never return...I have never gone to restaurant with on the fly random business times and never will.
The food is good and seasoned. I recommend the smothered pork chops and the baked turkey wing dinner.

So…..we moved to the area and wanted some soul food. I googled a location near us it brought up 20x better soul food. I always read reviews for everything! Literally! So i read the reviews which 90% were horrible mainly bland and undercooked food. So we decided not to get any that time then a couple months later we decided to give them a chance and see for ourselves. That was the worst decision we could’ve ever did.
One of our dishes was the smoked turkey wing and dressing, which came with two sides so when I got home, I opened up the box and there was no dressing. I picked up the menu to make sure I didn’t oversee what it said about dressing so I called up there the lady told me “we don’t have any dressing “. I responded well when I was up there picking up my food. It would’ve been good customer service. If you let me know and then I could’ve substitute it for something else. You just don’t not give someone an item in their dinner and just leave it at that. On top pf that the turkey wing was undercooked (even being smoked).
I tried but not!!!! No more business from us. That is totally unacceptable.

Food was Delicious! Service was great. This was our first there - we felt welcomed. A man waited on us-excellent customer service. The greens, potato salad, perch fish and 7up pound cake were very good! Again the Food was well seasoned & well prepared. The soft music, clean restaurant, excellent food, and professional yet friendly co workers are all signs that we intend to re visit this restaurant!

Collard greens were delicious. Had great seasoning on both the greens & mac n cheese. Catfish was nice & crispy, but didn’t have the freshest taste to it. The dressing is okay. It def. needs gravy on it.
