A year ago, this restaurant had dropped in quality—the food wasn't great and the portions were small. I'm so glad they've gone back to their roots! The food is now delicious, the portions are back to being generous (I'm completely full!), and I love it. It's my favorite restaurant, and I highly recommend it.

Never a bad experience or a bad time when I come in here the employees here are so professional I think he's the manager or assistant manager like every time I walk through the door he already know what I'm going to order and that's just like you know that's just like it gives you such a good vibe I mean I will give them more than five stars if I could

Used to be pretty good but now it's horrendous and I won't go back. Ordered garlic butter whitefish. It had no seasoning. There was about 2 bites of rice, barely any okra, corn was mushy, it went straight in the trash. Won't ever go back.

Great fish for any fish place, I recommend this place to everyone, now try the butter garlic shrimp, they are delicious too!

The manager that was on duty , whom waited on me was very polite and had a very Professional . He was a young man that I had a conversation with , he also stated he was originally from Virginia but now resides in Groesbeck. Thank you very much for being so attentive and caring and polite!

I went here for the first time and was so disappointed. I ordered a 2 PC catfish meal add 6 PC shrimp and hushpuppies. Almost $19. I got 1 catfish cut in half, the shrimp was previously frozen and the hushpuppies was like a straight cornbread ball barely seasoned. I will NEVER GO TO CAPT Dr's not even to use the bathroom . They should be ashamed!
