Wow! First time in so I tried the steak bomb and the itallian both were delicious! Staff super friendly and the place was nice and clean. Will be back to try all the other subs they all sound amazing

Why in tarnation did I spend $10 on a Cuban sub, that came with the wrong bread? Look at the photos I posted and you'll see I spent $10 on a sub that is mostly bread! I found out I had the wrong bread WHEN I GOT HOME. The employee had no name tag, so I can't tell you who it was. I can tell you it was at 3:40 pm on 12/21/2024 when I picked it up. They had 0 customer service skills. When I tried to see if I could come back up to do something about it, the employee(s?) (only one was seen at all from front counter.) did not pick up the phone. Two back to back calls, and then one approximately 4 minutes after. I'm extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this experience. For real, this place has really gone down hill with employees. The manager (I think) is a really nice man though, and when he's there we always have excellent service. If this issue can be rectified I will change my review.

Odd atmosphere, open sign was off and is off often during their open hours. Customer service is just ok borderline rude but definitely not friendly and welcoming. Food is good though. Would recommend the Gator sub.

I can't believe you're rating this sub so high. This was one of the most bland subs I've ever had in my life, and Jimmy John's exists. It tastes like it came from the Meijer pre-made sandwich section. No way. I'm so upset that y'all hyped me up to try this.

Second time trying Jon Smiths Subs and both times have been PHENOMENAL!!! Got the Gator the first time and the second time got the Bomb in steak. Fresh and hot on a cold day definitely makes for a good day. Go visit Abe and have him make you up one of the delicious subs.

Without a doubt one of the worst sub's I've had in my lifetime. One piece of salami and one piece of ham. Really?! Top it off with dry bread and a thin layer of mayo. Hardly any flavor when the entire sub is mostly lettuce. I do not recommend going here for anyone looking for something new to try. Not worth the quantity vs the price. Thumbs down for me

Update: Although my first review was less than stellar, We have given Jon Smith's another try. Our sandwiches were exactly what a Cubano should be tasty ham and pork, fresh cheese, that wonderful snap pickle and just the right blend of mustard and mayo all loaded onto a crusty roll of Cuban Bread. hey were wonderful and we will definately be returning soon. I also had a great chat with Abe, the owner. Abe really cares about his business and it shows,from the fast friendly service to the exceptionally clean atmosphere to the quality ingredients in his sandwiches. This was a great experience. The servive was fast and courtous. However, our sandwiches were disappointing. We ordered Cuban Sandwiches. Although the ingredients were fresh, and tasty. The sandwiches were assembled on regular sub rolls, not Cuban bread as pictured. It was definately not the sandwich we were craving.

If you get lucky, the food can be delicious. I guess it depends who makes it? The service is bad. Give them 2-3 times as long as what they say to make the food. I ordered a cuban, and they didn't tell me they ran out of cuban bread and instead used a sub bun. I would appreciate being told this ahead of time. I want to like this place but they make it so hard to do.
