My husband was telling me to try this place . He also told me they are a Christian family ! I must say he was correct and the food was fresh and very tender and they use a higher quality chicken . As a first generation Lebanese person, I can attest to the quality and freshness of Leila's. It is the closest to homemade food I've found in Macomb County so far, and I've tried a lot of middle eastern restaurants. We cater all our holiday and birthday events from here and David is the most professional and nicest restaurant owner we've encountered. I don't know anyone who works at this place personally, just very happy to find authentic Lebanese food near us. I recommend their beef shawarma, it's always the first to go at parties!

Had the chicken shawarma sandwich combo with lentil soup and hummus. Delicious! Chicken was cooked well and has a nice char. Hummus was delicious served with olive oil on top. The crushed lentil soup was yummy. Some extra sauce on the side would have been nice but I will be back!
