One star is too good for this particular Penn Station. The fries were burnt and unappealing. My Italian sub was COMPLETELY DRENCHED with dressing; the manager seemed totally indifferent and unconcerned as I complained about my mushy, disgusting sub. He did have another sub made for me, although the second attempt was missing half of the items! This was obviously done intentionally! I'm just glad that this wasn't my first Penn Station experience. This particular Penn Station is an absolute insult to the Penn Station name. I'm sure that all of your patrons are "first timers". I don't think you'll be around long....

Great subs. This location doesn't have the same deals as other locations. Like the Monday madness deal.

Fries were completely burned, and the bread for the sandwich was saggy and undercooked.Thought I'd give you a try as a new place, but compared to other Pen Stations, this one is by far the worst.I'd post pictures but they're too ugly and don't wanna ruin someone's day. That's all from me.

Had a coupon for a "buy one large, get one small" so I thought I'd give it a try.Ordered a club on multi-grain bread and a Classic Italian on the same.Since there is no way I'm eating what works out to 3 sandwiches at one sitting, I'll just review the club.It was good! The bread alone was delicious, a bit sweet (maybe too sweet?), had a nice chew to it. A good portion of meat, well balanced with the normal selection of veggies and the good amount of sauce without being a sloppy mess. I'm looking forward to finishing it for lunch tomorrow. Or do I eat the Italian?Vegetarian options: If you don't want meat, order it without. Simple.Parking: The strip mall seems new, some spots unoccupied and the lot hasn't been striped yet but there is plenty of room.Wheelchair accessibility: There us enough room but it seems just enough. The railing that separates the ordering area from the seating area makes it seem a bit tight.

New Penn Station location in Macomb that needs improvement.I’m a sub addict and I love a classic Italian sub, hot or cold. I always order that at any sub shop. I felt compelled to leave a review for this new location because I love Penn Station and saw room for improvement here.My reference is the Gratiot shop, which I’ve had at various times of the day / week. The Gratiot location is consistently fresh, timely, and customer centric. The grilled Italian sub there is fantastic. The new 19 mile shop needs improvement in these categories - (1) Attention to detail. My sub was missing ingredients. (2) Fresh ingredients. The sub bread and ingredients were not tasting of the same freshness as the reference location. The sub tasted like it was from the previous day. The fries also felt old. 3) Customer service - the time to order and acquire the sub was significantly longer compared to the reference location.I will be back in the future, I’m really hoping that this location can meet the same quality as the Gratiot location!

The food is way too small for the price. 15 bucks for a large sub. We got three and a large fries to feed four people and it was over 50 bucks. Four full meals across the street at Wildflower for the same and you get way more food. When will these business realize that shrink-flatiron shouldn't be their solution to cost. Give more food for a lower price and you will get way more business. I know the landlords are probably the problem, but what do they expect someone poor to do? I'm the 90s a meal at a fast food place cost half of the minimum wage amount. Now a meal costs almost twice minimum wage?!?Even if they gave the standard non-legal minimum wage is 15 and that a full hour. You can't blame the prices on the poor workers. A meal was 3 bucks when minimum wage was 5.50 so this is pure greed. If you are a hungry poor person, the food here isn't good enough or large enough to justify the cost.

First time at this new location. Half the crew was doing nothing, the rest didn't seem to really care/have a clue. I've always enjoyed Penn Station BUT not at this location/time. I realize they haven't been open long but for the premium prices I expected they would be trained

Food was outstanding!! We went there and we ordered one sub and 2 wraps. The cashier charged us for 3 wraps and my boyfriend added banana peppers to his wraps and those did not come on it. Then while the 3rd was being made they asked us if he wanted banana peppers on the 3rd one.. we ordered it that way, so that’s what we want.

Literally worst experience/service I've had at a restaurant in a long time. We ordered and waited a half hour maybe longer.. (way too long with two other small orders BEHIND OURS) and when the food came it looked embarrassing. One of the sandwiches was missing stuff. I had a picture of the food messed up, and then the employee who took my order- proceeded to walk away and talk about my partner and I like we were stupid- while she let the manager deal with us lol. It was right after a hard thanksgiving so it just added to our stress and honestly ruined the rest of our evening. As a business owner, I would make sure my staff is properly trained.

Today was our first time trying Penn Station East Coast Subs. The service was outstanding with plenty of help in the prep area. The interior is fresh and modern looking. I had the Turkey Avocado on a multi grain bun and it was very good. Their menu has plenty of delicious looking choices with the subs offered in small, medium and large sizes along with choices of buns. They offer fresh cut fries, cheesebread, chips, chocolate chunk cookies, fresh brewed iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and fountain drinks. Their monthly special this month is the cheesesteak and it looks really good! They also have wraps and salads and offer lighter options in the subs. If you want to create your own sub, you may create your own Dagwood. Great location across from Henry Ford Health Hospital on the corner of Garfield and 19 Mile, next to Beyond Juicery. We'll definitely come back because their menu board has a lot to choose from!

Sean, the owner, with his kind and generous heart, personally delivered a variety of subs to the ICU unit at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital this evening after a training event. He offered his delicious subs to the nurses first and then to the families waiting in the family lounge. Being one of those family, (having been here for almost a week) I am truly grateful for this thoughtful gesture. Thank you Sean for spreading kindness…best of luck to you and your business. I will be visiting your establishment to repay you for your kindness.
