Sad to leave a negative review. Unable to enjoy a $15 corned beef sandwich when it isn’t made correctly. Ordered hot corned beef on rye with swiss cheese and it was made on an onion roll. Won’t return to a place where I have to triple check my order is made correctly :(

I’m not going to lie. We wanted to try this place so bad since everyone was hyping it up on Facebook. Then we saw something on channel 2 and said OK we’re going to try it.. It tasted like ordinary, corned beef to me. I don’t know if it was in the afternoon and maybe they were tired of cooking? I’m not sure.. we ate it obviously since it took over an hour to drive there, but, I really wasn’t impressed. The cornbread was super dry and not delicious at all . The cheddar broccoli soup though, fire! I really loved that. And I get you had a long day and everyone has been in and out of your shop… With a woman at the register with the little braided twists or curls (not the mom and the absolutely adorable baby) was so unfriendly. Even the “security“ guy locking the door and not letting anyone in or out randomly wasn’t friendly either. Again, I get it. It’s been a long day… But paying customers are paying customers and if we’re paying $20 or more for items, please give us the respect back.

Oh, and since they ran out of cabbage, they supposedly gave us extra corned beef. I didn’t think there was anything “extra” in my carry box.

This is a takeout place. I am at home now fighting with my stomach trying to get just half the sandwich down. You talk about big, BIG. My only disappointment was the young lady behind the counter needed to smile more. She didn't seem like she was very customer service orientated. The desserts looked amazing and the sandwich is to die for. I got the corned beef on rye with dill pickle and hot mustard. It was a chore to finish half my sandwich I'll have the other half tomorrow.

Some of the best sandwiches that you can get anywhere. Great service and locally owned.

First time today. Great sandwich, the meat is very tender and fresh. I added 4oz of meat to my sandwich. The sandwich was so stuffed it was falling over.

I had the corn beef. This is in my top 3 for sandwiches. This corn beef had little to no fat on it and that's rare these days with the price of everything. This was a reasonable sandwich and it was delicious. However the coleslaw was not good at all and had a funny taste and smell. Im so happy it was on the side. The pickle was small compared to what I know a pickle looms like but could have been house made. But none of the stuff I name will determine if I return.
If you like sandwiches I would definitely go here.

The worst corn beef sandwich I ever tasted in my life. I asked for double meat. I didn’t receive it. Also the meat is slimy and fatty and instead of slices. It was a bunch of crumbles. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I hate that my first experience Was horrible.

We were really looking forward to trying RJ’s Deli for the first time, but unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that they were completely out of food when we arrived. It was a letdown, especially after hearing great things about them. Hopefully, this was just an off day, but it left a negative impression on our first visit. Not sure if we’ll be back, but we hope they can improve on this in the future.

Well let's break it down from the bread on in! The bread doesn't hold up for the sandwich, good flavor but thin and gets soggy and falls apart! The cheese is hardly noticeable it was small, very thin and you barely knew it was on the sandwich and definitely didn't compliment the meat! The corned beef was amazing and a good portion but the rest of the sandwich failed it! The sauerkraut was different but good. OK sandwich but for 15.99 you need to upgrade the basics to make it worth it!!

Service was great. . Ordered Corned beef on onion roll. Stacked sandwich, but it was dry.
Served with pickle on the side.

Tastes absolutely amazing but the sandwich needs to be bigger. Overall a 7.5/10 would’ve been a 9/10. Not worth the size for $16 at least $11 for the size and taste for it

Really tasty corned beef but the reuben is not grilled and I prefer it that way. Loved meeting the owner who took obvious pride and shared his story with us. But the young lady at the register looked like she'd literally rather be anywhere else and that dampened the mood. Hoping it was just a fleeting bad moment for her. But again... some of the best corned beef I've had in a long time. No actual dine in area.

This place is great! From Randy Sr. To RJ himself, and all the family in the building, just very friendly and accommodating. Had the Lozen's sandwich with that sweet and smokey kraut, delicious.
