It’s been a long time since my dad Me Nelson used to bring us Corn Beef sandwiches home. He would stop at Esquire’s. These are just about the same. It’s the flavor and the cut of the meat for me. I hope you enjoy this like we do!

We finally checked out RJ’s Corned Beef Deli in Clinton Twp and wow—this place did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the guys working were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were also super knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through the menu, which we really appreciated. We were even offered samples of their house-made sauerkraut and soup—both were delicious and such a nice touch. The meat was fresh, perfectly thin-sliced, and packed with flavor, exactly how corned beef should be. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Great food, great service, and an overall awesome experience. We will definitely be back. Thanks to whoever recommended RJ’s—so glad we listened!

Came in the owner RJ let me try the homemade chicken noodle soup and it was 🔥 everything looks delicious ordered a corned beef sandwich was super inexpensive staff was friendly I even order a butter cookie cheesecake 🤤 definitely coming back

Done with all the corporate big equity sub shops, who put cost control and Uber efficiency ahead of tasty food and friendly customer service, I've chosen to keep my money local. Searching for a tasty sandwich, good value and friendly staff, I found a real gem. R.J's made a Italian sub for me that was incredibly delicious. It tasted authentic with lots of meat, cheese , crisp veggies, oil and oregano on a fresh sub bun...memories of the small Jewish deli sandwich shop on 8 mile my family frequented ad a kid. The owner even came out and offered a sample of the homemade broccoli cheddar soup and tasty sweet sour and bacony sour kraut. Wow! I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Food was incredible, I typically won’t touch or look at sauerkraut, but the owner RJ convinced me to try a sample and it was phenomenal. I tried “The Watts” and was not disappointed. The meat was fresh and juicy, and all the flavors compliment each other tremendously. I also tried the soup of the day which was a chicken and poblano taco soup. I’m going to be thinking about it for the foreseeable future until I have the opportunity to get it again. I would highly recommend everyone gives it a shot, especially locals that are looking for a quick and delicious lunch spot!

Stopped in this morning for corned beef but it wasn't quite ready yet. We came back a couple hours later and the staff instantly recognized us and welcomed us back. Waited just a few minutes and were treated with tons of samples since it was our first time! Could not ask for better food or service. They are clearly passionate about what they do and it shows. :)
