I attended this restaurant for the first time, by myself, and they refused to serve me. They served all the other patrons, but refused to bring out my food. They took my order, seated me, and gave me water, but never gave me anything to eat.
The experience was absolutely terrible. While I was sitting, I saw other patrons walk in AFTER me, they took their order, gave them their food, and later gave them their bill, they ate & then left, and I STILL never got my meal.
The establishment is ran by a Lebanese family, and I'm not necessarily saying that everyone working here is racist, but based on my experience as the only African-American in the restaurant, black people are absolutely not welcomed here. I will not be back here again, and I have to recommend anyone of color to eat somewhere else, because you are NOT welcomed here.

I went to Vinny' Brunch today and order the Traditional Breakfast. It comes with two eggs, choice of meat, hash browns and one slice of thick cut rye toast. It's only $10.00. I have to say that the hash browns and toast were the best I have ever had. The service was really good. I will definitely go back and have the Traditional Breakfast again!

I ordered the Florentine Benny - I received nicely poached eggs over an ice cold tomato slice, and raw spinach. Quite the contrast in temperature and texture. Not pleasant.

After my encounter yesterday, I unfortunately will never be back….I used to love this place but not anymore. The service has gone completely downhill. I came in with a friend and it took almost 20 minutes for us to get an order in. I never got a refill on my water. When the food came out (I always get the same thing) but it was a lot smaller than it usually has been. If I am paying $16 for a pita and $18 for a burger, I expect the size and quality to reflect that. Each meal came with fries. I took a bite of my fries and something didnt taste right, they had a gasoline taste. I took a bite of my friends and her fries tasted completely normal. My friend also noticed that something didnt taste or smell right with my fries. At this point, I had to walk up to the counter to get extra napkins because no one ever came by. When a server (not our original one) brought napkins over, I mentioned it to her. I told her that I wasnt complaining, I just wanted to make them aware. A few moments after, our original server came over and said “we have the best fries in town” “it’s not right that her’s are good and yours don’t taste good”… I just stared at her and told her something wasnt tasting right. She was literally telling me im a liar. I didnt ask for a price off my bill, I just didnt want them anymore and wanted them to be aware, but she didnt like that. As a server myself, I have NEVER argued with a customer or told them they were wrong/a liar. I was so turned off by that. My friend, whom is also a server, and I stared at each other for a minute before she said “did that really just happen”. You don’t have the best fries in town, in fact, I can name about 5 better places “in town” with better fries that don’t taste like gasoline. After that encounter, I will never be back. I NEVER tip bad, but after that, your behavior immediately reflected on your tip. I usually always throw a $20 bill down, especially there given it’s a small place. AND only 1 refill on a pop that’s $3.50?! be so real right now and come back down to reality. pop doesnt cost that much. Again, I work in a restaurant, I know the cost of stuff. absolutely one of the worst and most ridiculous experiences that I have had. Do better! Will never be back.

I was captured by the various items on their menu! They have skillets, pancake and breakfast tacos, open face toast, omelettes, pancakes and waffles, etc. I love little brunch places that don't always have same items as other places. It makes them unique! I had the Avocado salmon toast with a Tiramisu Latte. It was all very good. The service was great. I'll definitely come back to try more options.
