I recently dined at "Andale," and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and cozy, with colorful decor that truly transported me to Mexico. The food was exceptional - each dish burst with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made great recommendations. Overall, "Andale" is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Mexican cuisine in a warm and inviting setting.

On a dark dreary rainy night we made our first trip here. The doors opened to a sparkling bright look with eye candy everywhere. They really know how to set a mood in this place. I appreciated all the efforts put forward to make this a happy place to eat. I had a delicious plant based burrito bowl that was super filling and tangy. I was wondering if they used pickled onions. There was something that set it apart and I couldn't exactly place it but it certainly was good that night and for leftovers for lunch the next day too. My partner was also happy with his meal. He loved his spicy margarita too. I was impressed by the way the jumbo glass wasn't just crammed with ice so you take a few sips and you're done. Our server...who's been there 5 years... was top notch and delightful. I was telling my daughter the next day about it and she said "I know...I was there last week for lunch and besides that it's not 'An Dale' Mom and proceeded to Google to proved to me how it was properly pronounced." So...ok then. Cool. I love to discover and learn new things. Mission accomplished on both ends.
Vegetarian options: I'm not 100% vegetarian but often pick that choice and I appreciated the burrito bowl.

Very yummy. I especially like their gringo steak tacos.
All of their pork dishes are great. Recommend anything of theirs with pork.

The crunch wrap is to die for and so is the fried ice cream ? best Mexican in metro Detroit, must try.

I ordered the beef burrito. It was good, and it came with beans and rice. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and had a lot of seating. I'll be back to try something else.

I don't like giving this rating because I believe they have the potential to rate higher when everything is working the way it should. Problem is that's a rare occurrence here. I'll start with the positives... their chips and salsa are good, as well as the queso, and we enjoy the margaritas. My kids like the chicken tenders and fries (excellent waffle fries) and those meals are well-portioned. I like that they have Keno. On to the cons... the first and biggest issue is the slow service, especially when the place is relatively empty. You would think that this would cause the staff to pay extra attention to the customers they do have... nope. There is no sense of urgency in regard to greeting, seating, or eating, and it's very frustrating for the customer. Maybe they're getting a stellar hourly wage (in which case, good for them) - they certainly don't act like they need the tips. Second, the food is very hit or miss as they seem to struggle with consistency. The rice and beans need work, particularly the beans, which are just bland. They're not meant to be the stars of any dish, but they don't add anything to it either. They removed one of the best things from their menu (Wafrachos - nachos made with those delicious waffle fries). It's mind-boggling as I think they have all (or most) of the ingredients on hand for these anyway. I can't imagine it was worth the expense of printing new menus. This was the final nail in the coffin for us... we just don't see any reason to return.

Tried with my kids on a Friday night and not wanting to cook. Food was terrible, service was worse. We had the fajitas and tacos. Everything was dried out. Waiting forever to put order in, and to get the bill. It was not busy at all. Do not go

I want to give 5 stars because the service and food was great. Carpet is sticky and needs to be replaced. Try this place if you are local to it. They need the support. Can be a great place with a little love.
Kid-friendliness: Good kids choices including tenders!

Excellent service and very good food. Our server was so smiley and pleasant but not fake. The food was served super fast and tasted fresh. I highly recommend the mango tacos!

The second time we ordered. First time was gross. Second time tonight was almost the same. This is not a Mexican food place, I make better Mexican using Kroger taco shells, etc. I will not order again.
They were out of chips which is way weird for a Mexican place and they were clearly understaffed, our server was overwhelmed and trying his best. The food was on the dry side and made me wonder how long ago the chicken had been cooked, and my 10 year old salted the rice which I've never seen in my whole life. He ordered a kids quesadilla and I think he got the appetizer version because it was spicy, but he's not super picky so it was ok I'm guessing by the amount of regulars that we maybe just caught an off night, may come back...not sure.

They have my absolute favorite Queso, chips, and salsa. So so good! Perfect every single time.
Best Mexican in the area by a long shot! They have Mexican pizza now that blew me away. Great drinks too, the pineapple margatini is amazing!
