First time here with my children, so over 14 years and I don’t see us ever going back. Overall the food was subpar but more importantly we had uncomfortably bad service.

We had a good server, but this was by far the worst experience I ever had at any chain restaurant. Ordered a mixed drink wasn’t expecting it to be super strong, but it tasted completely different than every time I have ever had it . I always get the same similar tropical drink all the time at other locations so I knew it was made wrong and probably didn’t have alcohol in it so I decided on a beer instead and they didn’t have any beer on tap. They only had maybe two or three available but common ones like angry Orchard, blue Moon we’re all gone! There was a very long white time at this visit. Our server immediately greeted as, however, he was busy and took a while to place our order and bring our drinks. Appetizers came fast however, the cheese sticks my kids ordered did not have the Pull-A-Part melted cheese goo you expect stay inside was cold. Didn’t say anything about that and waited another 20 minutes to get our food.. had the bourbon chicken, which was sizzling and drenched in oil. It was so greasy., one of my daughters had a two for 25 shrimp meal and the batter was bland not cooked all the way through. The other stuff we ordered was OK but I was very disappointed overall because Applebee’s is usually a go to from family meals. Again, our wait time was long, but we did have a very good server who just seemed busy. I took a credit on my bill instead of sending the food back because at that point, we were there for two hours, I didn’t feel like waiting any longer. Fast-forward because I didn’t eat my chicken. I took it home. Try to get some of the grease off and when cutting it open it was pink in the middle.

Recently my husband & I along with two other family members visited the Applebees restaurant in Commerce for dinner, We do often go out for dinner together and per my suggestion thought we should go to this restaurant, We haven’t gone to any Applebees in sometime, and we’ve always had good eats in the past, We thought we go a little early (6:00), before the dinner crowd, the restaurant was maybe a third full,When we arrived I requested a booth for 4 people and was told they didn’t have any available, So the hostess sat us at a table instead, As soon as we seated I noticed a a booth across from us that was empty so I went and asked the hostess if we could change to that table and she said the waitress was too busy and we couldn’t sit there, So I then asked if they could please lower the music because it so loud and she said would ask to have it turned down, Then no more than 5 minutes later the hostess sat 3 persons in the booth we asked prior to be moved to, Our service was rather slow, it took a little while for the bar order and food to arrive, Meanwhile while we were waiting for our drinks & meal, the 3 persons seated at the booth were enjoying their meal, When the food did arrive we had no silverware and asked for some she came back a FEW minutes later with plastic ware and apologized and she would bring out silverware when available, My sister ordered the chicken and broccoli plate, She asked if the broccoli could have the broccoli without any butter & she (waitress) that’s how it is made, When she received her order, the chicken was overly salted, broccoli was soaked in butter, So unfortunately we will not be going back to any Applebees anytime in the near future!Dietary restrictions: I believe you should have more menu options for the customer who wants lo-calorie meals, Or at least to have a vegetable with out it soaked in a butter sauce

Very friendly staff, but the quality of food is beyond horrible. If you want premade airplane meals, eat anything on the menu outside of hamburgers/hunks of meat. Don't look at the photos of the food to make your choice, it surely won't look like it. It's sad how corporate and downhill Applebee's has become.

I tried out this location for delivery. I ordered the Ribeye Steak.It was made exactly how I ordered it. Some places struggle, but this location didn't.It was also a Saturday night. They were still able to make the order very quickly, and it still had great quality and presentation.This location is highly recommended.

The only Applebees I’ll go to anymore. The manager Kerri always takes time out of her busy day to come and make sure everything is satisfactory. Way to go Commerce!
