What an outstanding experience! The atmosphere and service is great and the food and cocktails, wonderful. We enjoyed the burrata appetizer, short rib and rigatoni (which is prepared with beef tips and a rich cream sauce instead of the more traditional bolognese sauce) entrees. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended.

Giving this a three for food, the atmosphere however, is great. Our friends had the steak pasta, no flavor in the sauce & rustic beet salad. We had Chicken Parm & same salad, and French Onion soup. The soup so salty I couldnt eat it and both my husband and I tasted something burnt in it. Neither of us could finish ours. Both my friends & our salad said beet medley w/ various greens. It ended up w/ no beets and a few spring twigs mostly bib lettuce, packed w/ olives, a tasteless feta brick on top & tasteless vinegarette dressing mostly plain oil. We sent all ours back to kitchen thinking we got the wrong salad, asked for different deessing. We got the same salads back & deessing, only a beet was added. No owner or chef to explain why our $20 beet medley salad tasted like a normal garden salad. The Parm chk was good, but nothing special. For the cost of the evening dinners, unfortunately there are many restaurants better, all six of us were disappointed in our meals given the great reviews we heard.

Went for happy hour.
In the bar and although the place looked fabulous, it was hard to get the waitress over there because she was actually the bartender too... We ordered shrimp cocktail off the happy hour menu, got 3tiny shrimp beautifully displayed for $10 :(
Also got crab claws for $15, the tiniest crab claws, I have ever seen in my life!They were seriously one inch each and again only 3... They didn't give me any instrument to open these claws with to get at least the one inch of meat that was available in them and said that they didn't have anything like that to help me. Ordered a very small loaf of bread for $4..
The happy hour drink menu did not include any beer, chardonnay,rum or vodka.... I cannot lie the place is beautiful, but I'll probably never go there again

Food was very good. Value is just OK. Extra charge for bread basket at these prices is not great. And the bread was burned on the bottom crust. Wrong salad came right away, then an entree that wasn't ours. Pretty noisy inside and quite a few families with younger children. Probably won't be back. Prefer Zerbos or Lakes.

Beautiful Place, beautiful view. My fiancé and I arrive and there are three 20 something young ladies at the front desk and the first response from them is you are early. We new were early. We believe the first response should have been 'welcome' or 'glad you are here' 'Please have a seat at the bar till your event begins'. These are some ideas to train the first people we see. This was a common experience throughout our evening. Training on an attitude adjustment is needed before we ever come back.

The food was delicious! My sister said it was the best steak she ever had. It was one of the best fettuccine alfredo dishes I’ve ever had. My father and son loved their fish dinners (can’t remember what fish they had). The view of the lake was magical for us, coming all the way from Scottsdale, Az. Going back home to such a fantastic restaurant makes me want to move back. Thank you for being a part of our memorable evening.

Aurora On The Lake was 5⭐️. The food was on real good, the service was top tier, and the whole vibe was perfect. Chill, classy atmosphere everything was right from start to finish. Definitely a 10/10 experience, I’ll be back for sure.
