Good is excellent, service was pretty slow , they forgot to serve the dude dishes we ordered, but they apologized and didn't charge for them . All in all it was great .

We enjoyed our food and service but the seating was too crowded. Way too many tables and just felt crammed in.

Our waitress Zoe(y) was so so sweet and attentive! It was our first time dining at Aurora and it was the day after our wedding! Food was amazing and so were the drinks! Hostesses were also absolutely sweet!

Vibes were really chill. Food was fire and our server Joe was amazing. Very professional and knowledgeable. Made us feel at home. Thanks Joe

Food good. Inside beautiful. New server that needs more training. Constantly had to ask for my to be refilled. He served from across the table when he could have just came to other side (who wants someone reaching over them and their food); had to remind him of the complimentary bread. Sat our “doggy bag” the floor. Nice young guy but he needs training for this level of a restaurant. If all the servers were untrained like this one, I would think very hard about returning and probably would not. Train them up right‼️

Everything was amazing! It was our anniversary and the staff made our evening so special. Food was delicious!!!

While the decor was a bit over the top for my taste, it was quirky and eclectic so rather fun. The food was outstanding with the meat cooked exactly as requested, the table side Caesar salad excellent. A small error with how the food was brought out was very quickly corrected and all staff were friendly and helpful.

Food and service were delicious. Tables and chairs are tight which doesn't allow for much room for servers and Caesar salad cart. My husband was run into a few times and an extra chair at our table was hit numerous times.

Our table was beautiful and for two of us, our dinners were great. Our other guest had dietary restrictions and could not have food with garlic, butter or oil. She told the waiter her restrictions and ordered the white fish dinner plain. It was served with beautiful roasted vegetables that were smothered in butter and oil. When she mentioned this to our waiter he did not apologize nor offer to bring a side of vegetables plain that she could eat. An expensive meal that didn't meet her requests.

Great service & food. Cozy atmosphere. Partially covered and heated patio (nice in winter). Lake view!!

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here and it was our first time back since Matter of Taste closed down. We always loved the lakeside location and that is still a very nice aspect of Aurora. We had a bit of a lag after we were seated before our waiter arrived. Seemed the table assignments might have had a gap, but our server Matthew (?) was very attentive and had a great upbeat attitude. The food and drinks came out at a good pace and all were really delicious. Our only 2 complaints were the noise level and not having a better table closer to the water view, even after specifically asking for a special table for our anniversary. However, the chef did send out a very nice desert with Happy Anniversary on the plate which added to our fine experience. Glad this restaurant has opened and we'll definitely be back.

Location and food was amazing! It was a little hard to hear the soft spoken waitress. Also felt rushed by the lady to clear appetizers off the table ... timing could use some work! The Manager was lovely and attentive! Overall a great experience! I can't wait to come back when I visit Michigan again I will be sure to dress up a bit more too 🥰

Aurora On The Lake was truly a wonderful restaurant. When walked in we were blown away by the gorgeous interior and lake views. The food was delicious. Every dish we tried was flavorful and fresh, and the risotto in particular was perfection—creamy, rich, and perfectly cooked. Matthew our server was so kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. He checked in on us throughout the evening making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, and we truly felt taken care of. Highly recommend if you're looking for great food, great views, and genuinely great service.

Celebrated my 60th bday. Everything was fantastic. The food was outstanding. Best meatball appetizer I've ever had. The pasta carbine we all shared was great as usual. And the cowboy ribeye was cooked perfectly and was one of the best steaks I've eaten. Service similarly was outstanding. What a fun and enjoyable experience that has left a lasting impression and a fantastic memory.

It was our 19th anniversary and our first time at Aurora on the lake. From start to finish it was wonderful! Our server, Kara was outstanding and so was everyone else. We loved the table side Caesar salad, so delicious.
