Jimmy John's

I was reluctant to leave this review. I don't normally leave any, though I do read them. Years ago, I was told that the founder of Jimmy John's is a big-game hunter, so I've never spent any of my hard-earned dough at a Jimmy John's location. This may not even be true, or maybe it's changed, but it's ssooo much clicking to find out..
Anyway, I was at this location over the summer. I was in town, there were family members, we ended up here. The food was excellent. The condition of the store was excellent. The staff was excellent with a shout out to James. James took care of every part of our order was professional, courteous, funny.. - however, I understand that James is no longer employed here. They probably have other employees that are almost as good.

Ehhhh, I did a curbside order here. I am a devoted customer of Jimmy John’s. First time at this location, don’t think I’ll be back. Food was very sloppy made, and veggies were definitely past their due date.

I order 2 giant #13 and the one piece on meat on it I was so thin I could see through it. I order these all the time from a different location and I have never received one like this. This location is a ripoff!!!!

This place is hit or miss. I’m not sure they understand what “light lettuce” means. Some shifts are great, some shifts the employees don’t seem to care about customer service.

No idea why this JJ is rated so low. Solid 4/5. They're usually completely up to par. I only had an issue once or twice with slow or unavailable delivery due to a driver who called off.

Edit: after reading more reviews, it's Boomers. Why is it always Boomers?

What you order and what you get are rarely the same thing at this location. Wasn’t always too bad but the employees lately are a weird mix of rudeness and passive aggressiveness. I passed a Jersey Mike’s to get here but I don’t think I’ll be making that mistake anymore.

Ordered a curbside pick up order because I had kids with me. Waited over 20 minutes after checking in while also watching other people go in and out of the shop, and no one ever brought the order out. When I went inside and told the girl I had a curbside order, she asked me what she could get me as if I was coming into the store to place an order. Only then did she take her AirPods out and asked for the name on the order. It was sitting on the back counter with no drinks along with 3 other orders when the store was completely empty. Not to mention, both sandwiches were basically nothing but lettuce.

I pounced on them 2 minutes after opening in a hurry to get some food for my client before her 11:30 meeting. Ryan was super helpful reading the order from my phone and putting it in. The young man next to him had the sandwich done before I even put my wallet away. Exceptional service from the both of them! Thanks again Ryan!

Never fails that this location makes a mistake.
They outsource their delivery to uber cause they don’t have anyone to deliver and 9/ 10 times they don’t deliver your full order. When you call the store about it they pick up and hang up on you before a word is uttered.
Bread is so old/ hard you can’t eat it. Ended up tossing it and making a pbj instead. Made me feel sick to my stomach.
Their lemonade never has any syrup in the mix so it’s usually just awful water.
This location could care less about their customers. Go elsewhere if you can, save yourself $15/ sandwich; this place is terrible.

Love the bread here! Makes the sandwich for sure. Never had a bad meal and if you join the loyalty program you can earn some good deals.

I asked for Extra roast beef. $2.69, btw. I got 1 piece of roast beef, total, on the whole sandwich. So wrong & disappointing!

Was delivered an open bag of pita chips that had to be noticed considering half the chips are missing ...and...I had already given a $10 tip.

Yikes! Bottom 5 sandwich shop experiences I've ever had! Bread was stale. Sandwich flavorless. Employees were basically begging not to work there. Didn't ask what I wanted on my sandwich, if the regular was okay, or if I wanted any combos.
They were out of one of the soda fountain drinks, so I informed one of the employees, who rolled their eyes and did nothing.
Management needs to get their act together. Unacceptable standards by any metric.
I thought Jimmy John's was supposed to be good!
What a waste of money!

This location has been going downhill for a couple of years, but usually that is tied to quality of service - not the food. My wife picked up dinner from here yesterday, and in the middle of eating my sandwich I felt something in my mouth that did not feel right and was kind of flexible but wouldn't chew. I fished it out of my mouth and it was a thick freshly clipped FINGER (or toe -GAG) NAIL! I had to fight back vomit. Most disgusting culinary experience of my life. I will not be able to eat at any Jimmy Johns for a long time. Avoid this location at all costs.

This is the absolute worst Jimmy John’s in the state of Michigan. I have never been to a more terrible location. The employees are awful and will make your sandwich wrong just to spite you. Save yourself the trip and order from another location because this one is disgusting. The owner should be ashamed at what they’re allowing to happen in that location with the employees and the food that is being served.
