Great place ...good food....But they will nickle and dime the hell out of you. $3 for a pita bread but into 4 pcs....$6 for small fruit cup. I don't mind paying for a good meal..but this is outrageous. Plenty of other good places in the area where cashing a 401k is not required

If you don't fit their narrative don't tell them bc they won't let you eat there. Keep your political perspective outta your buisness. And if you don't like the constitution and freedom of speech maybe go to another country.

*that doesn't mean they can just pull over someone bc their feelings got hurt. Maybe don't tell homeless families that they can't panhandle on Easter (peacefully), but let some FELON litter and leave their trash all over the same place. There's something called the constitution. Maybe you need to read it too. ?‍♀️

I had been to Lulu's 5 or 6 years ago the last time. Since then they have renovated. The interior Aunt revamped the menu somewhat. Whatever they did, it's a huge improvement on an already very good restaurant. Loved everything we had. Super tasty, fresh. Very very polite staff and waiters. The corned beef is very good. I had a Farmers omelette and it was super tasty. Definitely will be coming back more often. If you are looking for late lunch or supper, they close at 3:00 however.

I visited this restaurant with a friend yesterday at the suggestion of the librarian down the street. What a FIND! We are now fans! Loved the atmosphere, the staff and the food. Best service ever! I can’t say enough good things about LuLu’s. I had the cottage omelet and homestyle potatoes. Generous portions on both. My ice tea never got to the bottom because the server was always there to fill it up. Love this place! It’s a hidden gem! The patrons (many regulars) also raved about the place, informing us to come on Wednesday because that’s when the spinach pie is available (not on the menu). I’ll be there next Wednesday for sure!

I have been a loyal customer of Lulu's for well over a decade. The food's great. The people are friendly. But I walked out before ordering yesterday and won't be going back.

They have TV's, as everyone seems to, and always have the main one on Fox News. Okay. So I'd sit on the side and ignore sports instead.

But yesterday I went in and EVERY TV was on Fox. I asked if the side one could be changed. I was told, by a regretful server, they're not allowed to.

The owner has a right to display his views. And I have a right to refuse to subject myself to them. I'm out.

Edit in response to response: You're correct that I didn't start by asking it to be changed--I stated I didn't want to have to watch Fox News to my server. She offered to change it, looked for the remote, and came back to tell me it couldn't be changed. I was sitting on the side, where there were only a handful of tables, and no one else was sitting there. So that one TV couldn't be changed?

I then simply said, "Never mind about that water; I'm going somewhere else" (without raising my voice), and walked out. It's interesting that you say I "stormed out." I didn't "Karen" the situation. I simply chose to find somewhere that doesn't force a toxic eating environment on me.

Shameful of the owners to have far-right propaganda (aka FOX News) on every single television in the restaurant. The admittedly decent food is not worth the discomfort felt by my LGBTQ+ friends and family while dining here. If you're going to literally broadcast your horrific views, then I will be telling all of my liberal/LGBTQ+/BIPOC friends and family to not support your business. Sincerely, a queer non-binary socialist.
